Comment:

One of the toughest professors I ever took but also hands down the best. It interesting to note how the people on this site who are giving him a low rating all have a high difficulty rating as well so they obviously don't enjoy working hard. I learned so much from this man by working my butt off and paying close attention to his lectures. 10/10

The worst professor ever. All he does is hand out paper as notes. This lectures are too hard to understand and he expects you know know everything. The homework are super hard and insanely long. The way he grades is way top harsh. If you are a A student then you might get a C if you are lucky in this class.

He can be very rude to students, and acts very arrogant in class. He speaks very highly of himself and constantly puts students down. Hardly shows any examples, just passes out flyers, which only makes sense if you already know the concepts. Expects all of his students to have already taken calculus before. Lectures as if everything is just review.

He has a very specific grading method and you do need to pay attention to that. However, this class is not impossible with him. I ended up with an A, but that did require a lot of hardwork. He expects students to put in effort. I went into his office hours a lot and he was always willing to help. He is tough, but I definitely know the material now

Hardest class yet! As a math major, this class was mandatory. I had to work my but off just to get C's and B's. He lectures the entire class period and never cancels class. He is really smart and gives detailed notes, so pay close attention. Test are the hardest because there are 4 and a final. He reads and grades every detail.

Every day in this class is a complete disaster. Whether it be his rambling that nobody follow or his condescending comments, this man is a joke of a teacher. It is no surprise that the math department at this school ails with this man as its leader. Plus is ponytail is gross.

I was very excited about this class,but it has been so disappointing. He has been teaching it for years and expects that you know as much as him. I am an A student and have never worked so hard for C's. He really puts people down in class. I have wanted to walk out on several occasions. If this was not my last semester I would have dropped! :(

I had him for math in society and he was awful. You can make this class happen but you will need to pay attention, study often, see him when available (if you find him after hours that may help). There is constant homework, he isn't the best at explaining his work and I think that because he has tenure he doesn't want to change his teaching method

Definitely one of the hardest teachers I have ever had. There is a ton of homework and the tests are no joke. But, he is always willing to help if you go to him and I have learned so much, its worth the struggle. As a math major, he is easily my favorite math professor on campus.

As a history major I hate math. But Mathmatics in society was a perfect class for me. You will work hard to earn the grade but he is very flexible and is always willing to help during office hours. People that complain just don't want to put forth the effort for this class. You will work but it is way easier than College Algebra.

He's a tough teacher but he knows his stuff and you come out learning a lot more than you thought you would. He does give a lot of homework but he helps you out as much as he can if you just ask. The tests are hard but he curves the grading. Be ready to work hard.
