Comment:

He's so nice and clearly loves teaching. Great personality and sense of humor. It's extremely easy to get a B, but hard to get an A. Although the content could be a little scattered and his sense of US history sometimes off, it was a great class and very worth taking. I also felt like some lectures weren't in depth enough, but overall I learned.

Dr. Genovese is an amazing professor! He is extremely helpful and very passionate about his research - he makes a topic you may not have been interested in extremely interesting. His class changed what I want to do with my life. I would take any class you can that is taught by him!

This guy is awesome. He is incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and the man can dress! His lectures are condensed versions of his books, which you don?t really have to read if you go to class and take copious notes. Attendance is optional, and workload is fairly light but you will learn a lot regardless. Great teacher and class.

This was one of the easiest classes I took at LMU. You really have to try hard to get an A, or anything below a B for that matter. His final was a breeze, and to be honest, I'm not even one hundred percent sure that he graded it. Anyway, the class is interesting enough.

A good class, I learned a lot. The books are expensive & not returnable, and you'll NEVER leave class early. He's a good lecturer, but a lot of people skip his class. There are 2 papers & a final that aren't too bad. What he says in class matches what he wrote in his books.
