Doc is the most caring and personal professor/director one will ever have for a band. He takes the time to learn every individuals name in his band and will personally thank you for doing your best. He is understanding if an emergency comes up as long as you email him early in the morning. Every human should strive to be as caring as this man.

Doc is incredible. Once he knows your name he never forgets it and will ask you how you're doing in the hallway when he sees you. He never has to raise his voice because everyone respects him so much. When you play in his ensemble you WANT to make him happy. He is unusually good at intrinsically motivating his students.

HOT HOT HOT (kidding) he's the chair of music department and teachese Wind Ensemble 111. fun classes. meeting 4 time a week but, if you hav conflict he lets you miss thursday sometimes. not all the time. he's willing to have every interested on as long as you enjoy the WE.
