He's the best poetry professor of any sort you will encounter at Suffolk. He's a very talented poet himself and approaches all forms with much enthusiasm. He will, however, know when you don't know what you're talking about or when you're just adding fluff to your papers. Class presentations and participation are required.

He is the best English professor- I had him for American Literature 218 and I can honestly say that I have never learned more form a professor in my life. His style is flawless and his passion for the creative process is amazing. His class was my favorite. Homework was average and only a couple papers, take home mid-term and a final. Great class!

The best poetry teacher I have had, and an excellent poet in his own right. He can be a little hard to follow in class, and is prone to tangents. However, I recommend him to anyone, even if poetry is not really your thing.

Very, very helpful. I loved his teaching style; he was very easy to understand. He's always available if you need him, even if it doesn't pertain to the class. Definitely take his class.

From what I hear, he seems to be a great teacher if you take him for the right class, such as English. I, however, did not have a great experience in his class. He talked the most during many of the discussions, and although we read many interesting novels, I wish we discussed them in more depth in class.

This guy was AWFUL he's insane!Very intelligent guy but teaches the class as if it were a 5th grade class room! I'm surprised he didnt make us walk single filed into the room.
