I took Wade for the first Hort class. He is such a kind professor and genuinely loves his job. Going to miss him when he is gone! Wish I could take more classes with him.

Comment:

This section of Horticulture was Landscape design, so more of a designing and drawing class than a book and notes. Very easy assignments, graded easy, and there was absolutely no tests or final. Take this class if you have or want any background in designing landscapes for yourself or for a job! Great professor.

Dr Wade was an amazing professor for this section of Horticulture. If you showed up and took notes, you will pass the class. He even goes over the test verbatim and IN ORDER the class period before, so you know what to study. He sometimes given sign-in quizzes when class attendance is sketchy on a certain day; an easy 100! Would take him again.

Seriously the best class ever. He only teaches at 8am but once you get past that it is so easy. He gives you the answers to quizzes and tests the class before. He does sign in quizzes which are easy grades. He loves his job and what he does. Take him

He loves his plants! His class is so easy, and he goes over the tests the class before, word for word. Ask him to sing "Mr. Frog" during class one day. All you have to do is go to class and take notes on the day before the test. Study a little beforehand. He gives free 100 quizzes for attendance, sometimes!

Great prof, super nice, slightly scattered but loves what he does. if you show up to all the classes and pay attention to reviews you shouldnt get below a 100 on his tests! favorite prof so far, hope to take him again

great second semester class if you are planning on getting college out of your system the first semester. he is helpfull and works well with your grade. If your grown up enough to get up at 8am you will be fine. if your not.. try a Jr college. very funny guy and will take time out to help and answer questions.

His tests are basically a list of random facts in the notes. Notes are handed out at the beginning of each section and they're fill-in-the-blank type. His voice is pretty monotone but I've heard he'll play his guitar for the class if you ask him early in the semester.

He replaces your lowest test grade with the final, which can really help if you know that you will do bad on one of the three sections. Sometimes he will bring a guitar and sing to you instead of teach. Although I HATE country music, but I enjoyed not having any lectures on those days when he played for us! Good teacher.

treats you like he thinks your an idiot, if you dont understand. BE WARNED theres actually MATH in this class, and it puts college algebra to shame, dont take unless your good at math and can handle 8am classes

I would give him striahgt 5's, if only he didnt flat out REFUSE to offer the class at a time other than 8am, some of us are not morning people and stubbornness is not a good quality in a teacher. But if you look beyond that, then he is very good. recommended if 8am classes do not bother you. If they do.... change majors.

i dont like the fact that the only time he offers the class ever is 8am, otherwise i like the class. make sure you show up, especially if he says theres gonna be a quiz BECAUSE THERE WILL BE ONE....
