He is a good teacher if you show him effort. He places a daily class review in the announcements on Blackboard. All semester long, you work toward creating one final paper. Tough to say whether I like him. He's a character, a hoot in class. I tell all my friends about him. He grades tough, but not hard-to-pass tough. He loves what he's doing. I'm taking another class with him, though maybe just because my friends are. He's worth sticking it out for, now that I'm used to him I don't care to change. Hope this helps/:

I did not enjoy this class at all and felt like I didn't learn anything. It was very disorganized and he was a little too laid back. He expected us to know what we were doing when we had no clue! Lots of tedious assignments just to write one paper for the end of the class

He does not know what he is doing. He says something and expects the student to do something else. Very confusing professor! Overall a careless personality. Not much of a help. The responses that he asks student to post on bb are not much of a help overall. It does not make sense when he says it will help with writing the papers.

He was a pretty great teacher. Very understanding when it comes to having other classes and work on top of his. If you are struggling, email him and he will help you have a better hold on the assignment. The class has 3 papers that combine into 1. The paper is the exam. Just keep up with the reading responses so you're not scrambling like I was.

Great professor! He is very helpful and willing to discuss the work in detail as long as you ask. The workload for his English 243 class is heavy; however, if you do the required reading and at the very least try to answer in an intelligent, articulate manor then you will be fine.

I'm an English major. I'm used to difficult reading & seeking assistance with things I do not comprehend. He is useless when it comes to actual teaching. If you do not understand something he assumes you are stupid and writes you off as such for the remainder of the term. If your GPA is important to you, do not take his class!!

I am taking his online English lit class and it is ridiculous. I am fine with doing a lot of work, but when it is not explained enough then you get reprimanded for not finding what he wanted you to it's annoying. He can be rude and insulting. Seems to think everyone is stupid and not trying.

There is no ease with Weiser. If you choose to take him, you will be miserable. He expects your full potential. It's not unusual to have to read and analyze 14 poems/prose a week. He doesn't care if you can't keep up, he'll just treat you like you're stupid and inept.

He is a really great teacher as well as a joy to be around. he is always smiling and laughing and wearing hippie clothes. He has unique methods to helping you become a better writer. He grades you based on how much effort you put into your work. I would recommend him to anyone.

WEISER IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD. HE INSTRUCTS THE CLASS OF ONE AGENDA AND THEN HOLDS AGAINST THEM WHAT HE INITIALLY INSTRUCTED; WHICH AFFECTS GRADES. HE ALSO GETS HIS CLASSES MIXED UP. GET EVERYTHING IN WIRITING BECAUSE WHEN FINAL GRADES ARE ISSUED HE FABRICATES THE TRUTH! DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!
