If you can avoid taking this Professor, then I would suggest you do so. This was my 2nd time taking this class and I did worse this time than I did the first time. He is very confusing & is not clear about what he wants. His notes are all over the place and hes reached that age where he simply doesnt care about helping his students pass the class.

This professor definitely knows his stuff, but he is too fast. He doesn't really connect with his students. It feels like he just rambles and hopes that you get it and then you try to get help outside of class and he is never in his office. He will make you hate math. If he is the only professor left take him, but sign up for a tutor.

He makes you keep these ridiculous journals and makes jokes in the class that aren't funny. Very hard to understand because of his accent and slurred speech. He does cover whatever material will be on the test and has a review day before the test. He's not a hard teacher.If you can take a better teacher than do it, but if not he's decent.

If you do bad in his class it is because you didn't do anything.He goes over all of the math you need to know.Make sure you put time in your journals.How you get the answer is weighed heavier than the answer on test.Don't put alot of time into the homework cause he does check to see if you really did it just to see if it looks completed.I recommend

Comment:

Professor Ganzberg is a great teacher. He takes his time to cover each subject in depth so that every student understands. Only those that are simple and lack initiative find his class difficult or see his unclear language as a barrier. He may not be the most exciting but he is good at what he does and that is MATH!!!!

He's a pretty decent professor. Although he does not speak English well, he makes tremendous effort toward seeing that all of his students are prepared for the tests. If you go to class and pay attention, you will do well. Do the homework! Its a lot of work, butit really helps you. I got an A+.

This man made me hate math more than I already did! Cannot speak clear English so it was difficult to understand anything! Made us keep a journal...meanwhile...IT'S A MATH CLASS! The work was so difficult and he offered no extra help!

I think he is the most understandable of all the math teachers I have had. After a while you understand him better and he reviews for test really well. I got a A+ in his class.

This man can not speak clear english so that makes it really hard to understand him when he teaches MATH!!! The homework assignments are not hard but you will NOT learn from him. Read the book yourself, then do the work! He says he will help but he doesnt
