The Gods Monsters and Scientists Seminar was very interesting and I learned a lot. Don't be afraid to speak up becuase your views on whether God exists or not will NOT affect your grade. However, if you believe in God and are offended easily by athiests, do NOT take this class because Bushey made it pretty obvious that she does not believe in God.

The labs were fun for this course, but the lectures were terrible. Her notes do not connect very well and no one could ever pay attention on lecture days. And even though it was a lab based course, the other outside research work she had us do seemed a waste of our time. She's good about addressing your questions though.

The tests are hard, but if you study you should get a good grade. The lectures are okay. The labs are at least relevant, so better than other labs. And if you know what you're doing, you'll get a good grade on the lab reports. I really like her.

Awful! I took this to get my lab done for common curriculum & graduate, but it's just too much work that's too hard. She doesn't understand that everyone taking this is a non-science major & makes it way too difficult. Tests are impossible, lectures make no sense, & there's a quiz over the reading every class. It's miserable & shouldn't be cc lab

Dr. Bushey's classes aren't so great and that can be frustrating but go talk to her outside the classroom. She's one of the nicest and most interesting people around. Ask about her days in Africa. What a cool life.
