Comment:

Shes a very fair marker & super kind lady. Her mid term was a bit tricky, final is easy, The paper is a HUGE chunk for marks, but if you follow the outline you will get an A. most ppl get 90% +. She goes back many times & gives additional bonus marks. she doesnt want anyone to fail. 20% give away marks for participation so go to class & u get an A!

I liked her. She's a really funny and nice teacher. Tests were all multiple choice, long, but studied mainly just power points. Attend class and get free participation marks. She was just not clear on what was needed on her paper, however you can still do pretty well on it if you include stuff she mainly talks about in class. I'd take her again!

She's such a tough marker & is sooo unclear about her expectations but once she's marked the papers, she'll send out a sassy email about what her expectations were. Why didn't you tell us that BEFORE we wrote the paper mina? and that DVD that she made and forces everyone to buy just to write a paper on. trying to make money off of students.

Terribly boring class ... she is a tough grader and is not clear with her expectations as to what she is wanting from her assignments. It is a chore to go to her class; II wish York would take note of all the people struggling with the NCLEX and adjust their curriculum accordingly and not fill our curriculum with fluff like this.

She does not seem to know very much about patho. I think stats is her forte. She did everything she could to help her students get good grades. Just a hint, when you approach her be super respectful. She can become extremely defensive but all in all she is a sweet woman.

Mina is really cool after you get to know her. But she doesn't know pathophysiology at all and totally relies on her notes. Can mark your right answers in a test as wrong just because she doesn't know the subject. She is very understanding though, and does her best to bring the class average up. Not a good prof for this course though.
