Great job explicitly explaining instructions for the assignments, Following them makes your papers go by wicked fast. Really genuine professor with some cool life stories that she tells when she has time. Very fair and enjoyable person to see three times a week.

Comment:

great teacher who makes speaking in class and lot less scary. She focuses on interesting topics and is kind. She often expresses when she feels a student has made an interesting point and is willing to spend time focusing on what the student would prefer. She cares about opinions and may remove readings for the next semester if students dislike it.

I'm not a big fan of history, so when I got a 4.0 in her class I was really surprised. If you're looking for a moderately easy class, then you should consider this class. She gives no exams, only 4 major essays which includes your final paper that's based on a list of options she gives you & weekly quizzes on Moodle based on the textbook.

Don't expect her class to be easy, you're going to have to read and work hard to get a good grade, but if you do and are receptive to her feedback you will do well. Her essays and tests are open ended so having a broad understanding of the material will help you.

I hated her teaching style. She never really went over what was on the tests. You have to find it in the books yourself. Lots of reading. Lots of papers, and hard grader. Keep it simple for wording. She'll mark off for an big words. Doesn't make clear what she wants in the paper but then kills you bc you didn't put stuff in it.

wonderful prof. Will bend over backwards for you if you show initiative. Do your reading and participate in class discussions and you will do fine. Sometimes she can a bit difficult to follow.. But overall a great professor.

I went in several times to try and understand what she wanted on her tests and I only ended up more confused. She's tough, unsympathetic, and won't ever stop talking. I don't think anyone could do well in her class no matter how hard they tried.

HOLY****! i've never met anybody so confusing IN MY ENTIRE EXISTANCE!she may know her stuff, but she could never convey her thoughts in a coherent manner! the kicker is she entertains everybodys THOUGHTS! EVEN IF THESE THOUGHTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CLASS! I ADVISE TO NEVER take her class!

I think she is a terribly unclear and very hard professor to follow. SHe is not always sure of what day it is or even what class you are it makes me think how much she really knows what is going on around her. Although she is a nice woman.
