Comment:

Dr. Sillah is nice, and funny in his own way. He does have an accent, but he's not difficult to understand unless you're ignorant. He takes attendance, and KNOWS who comes to class. Lectures are boring, but the lectures are literally the test. Take good notes, be nice to him, & come to class to pass. I'm taking him again so he's not that bad.

Dr. Sillah is a good professor and very knowledgeable. He does have an accent which is had to understand at times. we only have tests so your final grade is based upon it. attendance is mandatory he knows who comes to his class. In addition you can not talk text chew gum or nothing of that nature. In class you must write everything that he says.

Class was dumb hard. No quizzes no classroom no homework , so all yahoo grades was strictly based upon your test scores. You NEVER want to miss this class because the lectures are soo long and u have to write ALOT! Test are kinda hard. U MUST STUDY TO PASS THE CLASS! And he only curves your tests twice to help you only if u fail

he does add points to your test if you do really bad, maybe only 2 times. theres NO CLASSWORK, NO HOMEWORK, NO QUIZZES OR STUDY GUIDES. theres only test, so you must past the test to pass the class

Gave two lecture exams and two textbook exams. He does not give reviews prior to exams nor study guides, although this study guides are uncommon in college with a professor with a heavy accent like Dr.Sillah it should be required. All exams is straight from textbook and notes so STUDY/MEMORIZE. It is impossible to contact Dr. Sillah!!!!

His class may be seem hard because all you do is take notes which can get boring. BUT if you take notes and just chill in class (no talking, texting, etc) then getting a passing grade should be a piece of cake. Dr. Sillah is also quite funny in his own way but also easily offended. Stay on his good side and the class will be easy enough.

Dr. Sillah was HARD but an amazing professor. By far my favorite professor thus far. He WILL make you read that text book. He WILL make you take them notes and utilize what you've learned onto paper. His class was tough but he looked out. VERY much so!

Dr. Sillah was NOT a good professor. His class was extremely boring(I fell asleep often). However, his expectations were clear: tested material WILL come directly from the notes that you take. Therefore, you WILL fail if you do not take notes. I earned a C in this class, could have earned a B if I had not dosed off during lecture so many times.

Do not text, chew gum, sleep, etc. in his class cuz he WILL kick you out! His tests are straight from his notes... you don't even need the book. He is funny too (in a weird kind of way). He loves everything Africa so be ready to spend at least a week watching African movies...

This guy is an easy teacher. All you have to do is take notes word for word. His test questions come right from his notes. He is hard to understand but I am now in his second history class which is now 105 and I understand him now. Attendance is big in his book. But I'm telling you he is an easy A if you follow my directions!

He dictates the entired class notes from what he created and makes you buy a book you never use. Also he has bad granner so the tests are hard to uderstand and he does not answer questions during them so u have to guess. If i had a choice i would NEVER take his boring "made up" class and gow with someone i could understand.

Dr. Sillah's course is easy as long as you take notes, he dictates so prepare to take down word-for-word and atttendance is mandatory. I missed one of his classes, took most of his notes, and studied the words he told us to underlined and got an A, so TAKE HIM!
