She is a very kind professor and gives you the idea that she's very laid back and "Montessori", but in reality she is a very tough grader and has you confused with her directions. She handed out a bunch of questions that should be used in your papers but when you use them, she still has criticism always implying that it's not strong enough...

She does not know the meanings of reflective response and an academic response. She asked us to use citations in our reflective responses (final) and to not use citations in our academic paper (midterm). The midterm was a complete surprise that she gave it to us and told us it would count as our midterm after it was due, "The dept. needed a grade."

Pretty awful all around. No meaningful feedback, no proper instructions or explanations, and prefers that the class teach itself through discussion and hardly ever spoke about the topics herself. She's a nice person but not a good teacher.

She is amazing! I enjoyed every single class. She encourages students to think out of the box and to understand the external forces that act in schools and the curriculum. Expect to read a lot for class discussion.

She is a sweet woman. She's strictly a direct teacher who only reviews textbook readings. She only graded the class on 2 papers the whole semester and didn't provide any feedback. The papers were due last day of class. This class was a guessing game, I wish i could give her a better recommendation.

BORING. BORING. BORING. I am so sick of sitting around and talking theory. "woulda, coulda, shoulda." Its a waste of time and money. I wish i could learn something practical and useful in this course, perhaps something that would help me be a better teacher, but forgettaboutit!. She talks for 3 hours just to hear herself speak.
