I hope you can understand an incredibly heavy Israeli accent, comparable to listening to someone speaking underwater with a mouth full of peanut butter. All lectures are posted online. The only thing you do in class is watch her struggle with english diction in between completely off-topic mythology-themed opera clips on youtube.

I've always been interested in Greek & Roman Mythology, and this class went into much more detail than I've ever learned in middle or high school, or by reading mythology books. The stories and readings are interesting. Professor has a thick accent, but I got over it after a couple classes. She also shows a lot of opera videos. Good class.

Greek and Roman mythology was an okay experience. She is very interested in the subject matter and really wants every person to learn. Her grading system is whack and tests can be unclear.

Had a ridiculous grading scale. A 90-93 on exams was considered a B+, not an A -. All multiple choice exams, but very opinionated so harder than epected. I wouldn't take this class, if i could go back in time.

so knowledgable and helpful. Weekly vocab quizes online, but super easy and got 100% on all but one and only studied 10 mins prior to quiz. She puts up a lot of helpful practice quizes for vocab and grammar on blackboard. midterm and final are take home, open note open book. Skipped 5 classes, never studied, gotB.prob shouldbe interested in languag

Very nice woman. She wants people to do well in the class and will explain concepts many times. Take-home mid-term and final, online quizzes and homework. If you're interested in Hebrew or have to take a language, this is easy and has a great professor.

She's a wonderfully nice woman, and definitely wants you to succeed. There's a lot of reading in her course, but it's usually manageable, and if you do it all you should be fine on her quizzes. A pretty strict grader on papers and submitted questions, but she makes any class interesting and is good at promoting discussion, but not directing it.

She's brilliant, but doesn't understand that we don't all know Hebrew, which was not a prerequiste for the class. Also, she tries to correct your grammar in papers and doesn't know English well enough to do it properly. Most of the class failed the first paper. I learned a lot but would have been STRESSED if I hadn't taken the course pass/fail.

She is a brilliant professor, but does not always know how to convey her thoughts. Her discussion are more of question and answer, but the readings are really great. There are a few papers and although she can be a hard grader she gives plenty of opportunities to have people proof read them in class before they are due.

Good Professor. You will get used to with her thick accent in a few day, so don't worry to much about it. She gives help, if you ask. Only negative thing I can think of is that her discussion leading skill is not so great. Anyway, interesting subject, good professor. You will get what you work for.

Really good professor. She has a thick accent which takes some getting used to, but she has tons of knowledge about the Hebrew language and clearly loves teaching it... she even threw in some theology. Only grades are take home miderm and final, which are extremely long but fairly easy if you've done hw. (do the hw even though its not graded)

Hard class, but I gained a lot of knowledge of the subject matter. There are about three papers and a huge paper at the end. Ask questions and email her, and she will be very quick and thorough in her answers. Brilliant woman, but can be unclear in what she wants in your papers. Prepare to cry upon reading your first grade from her.

I liked this class because I suck at english anyways so making a B or B- on papers wasn't that bad! 4 papers no tests! 1 presentation. She will help you if you email her! This improves your grade. Hard to get an A unless you are a genious.

Terrible class, terrible teacher. There is not one person I have talked to that actually enjoyed this seminar. She is an incessant rambler, difficult grader, and boring lecturer. The only good thing about her seminar was that there was no tests, but don't expect to get above a B on a paper Avoid her

Naama is a very kind and caring woman. Most of all, she's fair. She is understanding and is always willing to offer you help. The class is not demanding, but it is important to pay attention to the book because the lectures are confusing at times.
