Honestly not what I expected. Felt like I didn't learn anything new it was more of a latinoamerican culture histclass more than a class related to grammar and the actual language. I would have dropped it if I hadn't bought the book. Tu she's nice outside of class

She is an amazing teacher, by far one of the best I've ever had. Her class isn't easy by any means, you have to work for your grade. I learned a lot from her in this class. She is not afraid to correct you if you're wrong, which is one of the reasons why she is such a great professor. She's very funny, sweet, and inspiring !

She is a terrible teacher. I learned nothing all semester long and she never helped to clarify anything. She assigns a ton of pointless homework all semester long. She is very hard on the students and will constantly single someone out who she knows doesn't understand the material. Most teachers like to see students succeed, however, she does not.

Professor Cano is tough and assigns alot of homework. However, it is a good thing because it really helped out my grade. She tends to have a no tolerance attitude if you do not put in the effort. Whenever I asked for help she gave it. Cano is not as bad as most are stating!

she did have an attitude and interrupted herself to single someone out. She's very anal about having your phone out during class. She's super power hungry. The class is very easy to pass but she makes it hard.

Probably the worst teacher at SWC. She is so confusing and she is all over the place. She is not helpful at all and the last few chapters get difficult and she just speeds through all of it. No patience what so ever. Too much homework! I don't recommend her at all and I really honestly mean that. Save your grade and GPA.

This class was very easy for me because I spoke Spanish on a regular basis. She makes you participate but thats the plus because you'll see the class becomes more fun. Be sure to buy that $180 book, do the all-days worth of online homework, and everything required and you should get at least a B. (:

Professor Cano is a great teacher but gives out way too much homework. If you slip up and fall behind on your homework you can kiss getting an "A" good-bye. She is good looking but that gets old pretty fast when you realize how difficult her class really is.

Though the professor is good at teaching, I have to agree with other posts. She is very moody and can be condescending She asks the class to discuss with one another and then shushes us when we are talking and starts counting like we are kindergardeners. Teacher is NEVER EVER EVER on time, but if you are late, your grade will be affected.

I don't recommend taking Professor Cano for Spanish. She was moody, late, and impatient. She definitely preferred the people in class who already spoke Spanish fluently, and would answer questions in a condescending tone. If you do well on the tests, turn in homework and have good attendance you will do fine.

Profesora Cano will break her back for you if you show a genuine interest. Shes moody, but its only if she feels like youre wasting her time. Shes so efficient and precise, you know everything that you have to do the first day of class. Its your job to do it and get that A. its easy.

She has attitude for days. She is not a happy person. She is frequently late, then she gets all pissy if someone walkes in late. She says you cant turn in your homework late, but if she was just late to class how can you turn it in on time anyway. Take her class for the eye candy only other wise shes just plain ****y.

She has a slight attitude and tends to condescend, but it was an easy class. You can tell that she's a beginning professor, but as long as you do all the homework and have good attendance, there's no way you can fail.
