Comment:

It's a easy class, just do your outlines, group assignments and three speeches accordingly and you will do fine. He's a funny prof. and easy going, very laid back and there also the final exam plus the final group assignment. Textbook not really needed but it did help me a lot towards studying for final exam.

Dr. Q is a funny guy. He is also not clear in his directions for homework assignments and his grading policies. He does not post his grades online so you're in the dark until the final grades are posted. There's only 3 speeches and a group discussion, which are easy enough. Final was based on the textbook, which we never used in class.

Since he teaches public speaking, a majority of his teaching style is done orally with footnotes. He gives plenty of time for speeches, and gives a rubric of what is required. I hardly ever used the textbook- the only times being the first day of class and the final. Overall, a great choice for a professor.

I took his class during the summer so we met everyday. He is pretty funny and his class is not hard at all. Just do your 3 speeches the way he told you to and you'll be fine. There are days when he just talks for like 30 min and let's class leave. Not really that helpful. I recommend this class, easy A if you don't procrastinate as much as me.

I took his class over the summer so it was shorter but we met everyday. He really cared if you showed up. Easy A just do the 3 speeches, not scary at all, I thought it would be but he wasnt threatening. We never really learned anything though or used the book which was all the final was on and was real hard, but I got an A cuz of the speeches. Take

Great teacher! Easy A, only 3 speeches and 1 group discussion. Professor gives you enough time to do assignment which are timed. He made you feel comfortable and communicates well via email.

This is a college course! We get a syllabus in the beginning with tentative schedules and he gives enough time to work on the assign's w/critiques b4. Just show up on time attend sheet is passed around in the beginning. You have 3 speeches, & a make up speech to get a high grade if u didnt do well on another and an open notes test. Sometimes funny

He is a very easy teacher. Just show up and be on time and you will receive participation points. I never had a problem with email communication with him and he seemed to be very fair. I enjoyed this class. This is college people! Not middle or high school!

This guys asks for a lot of unnecessary work. He gives no make ups or extra credit. And he is very critical of evrything that you do. If you make a mistake that's just to bad. He doesnt respond to many emails either and does provide much help throughout the course.

He was a great teacher, just show up ready to learn, I am afraid of hiving speeches but aftere we were through, I thought it was all easy. He is a very easygoing personm and willing to help if you ask. Always by his phone, you should all take him. You must have a really low IQ to get a lower than a 'C'. Im not done yet but im pretty sure I did well

okay, this guy comes to class for like 15 mins then leave, but hes an okay teacher. Just show up do your speeches on time n try to go over 5 mins on speech. Hes understanding.Only down fall is that big group assignment at the end. Its a killer and its sense less.

THIS TEACHER WAS AWESOME I WAS DREADING THIS CLASS BECAUSE I HATE SPEECH BUT HE MAKES IT FUN AND HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING. HE GIVES AN EXAM AT THE END BUT IF YOU TOOK NOTES THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS LIKE HE TELLS YOU TOO IT IS ALL THERE... I GOT AN A!!!
