She is an incredibly hard grader, but this is seriously the best class I've taken in my life. Her high expectations made me work my butt off but the subject matter was very interesting and I enjoyed the work... if that's possible. be prepared to use APA and to follow directions closely. Best class you will ever take.

I had Nancy for the EPS block EPS 300/EPS 304/EPS 282X. I really enjoyed her class. Almost every lesson was a discussion and very involved. I fully recommend her! My one piece of advice: work early and work hard on the essays. She offers some feedback if you do them early.

Comment:

I had Nancy for the EPS 300/EPS 304/EPS 282X. She is a great teacher, and I absolutely loved going to class! She is a difficult grader, but if you follow the directions you will get a good grade. She has so much experience in the field and it really made me interested to learn more about it. If you can take her for any class, I highly recommend it!

At first Nancy is intimidating at first, but she is such a wonderful professor. Keep up with reading and 3 major assignments for each course. She grades tough but she gives room for improvement. She is so passionate about what she teaches and I truly enjoyed her classes. As long as you participate in class, you'll get so much out of it!

I took her class for 300/304 and 419. Easily the best teacher on campus. She's a difficult grader, but she gives you the option to revise the paper for a better grade. As long as you follow the instuctions, you'll do fine. Very excited, and happy person. Take this class with her, you can't regret it.

300/304/282 If you don't want to work hard, don't take this teacher. However, if you do, you'll have a lot of fun in class and learn a ton! She is my favorite teacher ever. She is also very nice. I had a family emergency and she not only gave me permission to leave, but encouraged me to go. She's awesome!

She is tough, but fair. Follow the directions and you will do well. She requires you to tie everything to theory and research, but that's what the class is about. Really knows her stuff. Very approachable. Willing to help during office hours or any time. Will go through your papers with you. Just ask. Fun class! Lots of discussion and cases.

She is a really great teacher. Class is 3 hours long, but it usually goes by really quickly because the class discussions are very interesting! I have learned ALOT from her. The papers are overwhelming at times, It seemed like we have a 100 point paper due 5-6 weeks in a row, but if you put the time and effort in, you will be just fine.

I took EPS 300, 304, and 282x with her at the same time. She is super tough and requires anything and everything tied to theory and research. There are four papers to do and they required very tedious information. There is also two finals that are take-homes, but they have 200 questions each. At times this class became very overwhelming.

Good teacher...She does grade pretty hard though. There were only 260 points available in the class so you cannot miss hardly any to obtain an A. She definitely knows the information she is teacher and cares a lot about it. If you put forth a decent effort you should be able to get an A or B.

Before taking this class I had no interest in teaching middle school,but her perspectives were really interesting.She had such a unique way of approaching teaching a middle schooler that I would have no problem teaching in a middle school.She had a take home final and very few papers. As long as you followed her rubrics,you should get full credit.
