Very nice person. She reminds me of a Russian grandmother. She cares deeply for her students and offers every opportunity to help you, and for extra credit. I learned how to read and write in Russian much quicker and much easier than I had expected. None of her homework is busywork, all of it goes towards furthering your understanding of Russian.

If you're a russian speaker and want to learn to read/write this class is so helpful!! Came in not knowing the alphabet, came out reading really well. Hw every night is easy but tedious. Attendance is mandatory but class is fun. 12-15 kids in the class. So nice/helpful and always available. Gives tea in her office hours. Reminds me of my babooshka

The sweetest woman EVER. It's a high school atmosphere, with a handful of people in the class. It's not particularly challenging, but it's definitely helpful. Frequent homework that's very easy, and around 5 test-quizzes. Attendance is mandatory, and participation is important, though it's the one class you'd WANT to attend. Take it!

Sweetest and best professor I've ever had. She goes well out of her way for every student and she really does legitimately care about you. She assigns homework every day but it's always pretty quick and easy. Attendance is mandatory, but class is fun. She goes off on tangents about religion and whatnot, but it's definitely very amusing.

Not a tough professor at all, but very caring. Another user comments on her repetetiveness, but this is very helpful if you're drumming a new language into someone's head. You'll remember the language use in her "sidetrack" comments & songs, etc, long after you forget specific lessons. If you put in some work you can get a lot out of her classes.

russian for russians- not a hard class. if you speak russian your fine, you have to know alphabet and poems but its not that bad esp if you were taught when you were younger. sweet lady. alot of hw though. if she likes you youre good to go. attendance mandatory. you could prob miss one or two classes but she notices each one

Best professor! Very easy and interesting class. Sometimes gets slow with her history lectures, but cool otherwise. She is very strict with the script, so make your letters pretty. Great class - highly recommend !
