This class is super entertaining. Dr. Austin makes the material easy to understand and fun! He grades tough on the essay question on the tests making it difficult to get an A in the class. If you want an A I recommend you take someone else. He said he usually only ends up giving 1 or 2 A's per class because he grades so tough. But the class is fun.

Dr. Austin is the most mind-stimulating, interesting, hilarious, inspirational professor I had at SFA thus far! Looked forward to going to class, it was literally a SHOW! I learned so much from him and was encouraged to pursue my PHD in English. He is very helpful and challenged my writing. Read the book, go to the arrc and you will be fine!!

Took him for ENG 350 and 352. He would go on and on about ridiculous things. Not helpful at all. Grades extremely hard on essays and he lets you know that no one gets an A or B in his class. Very hard to understand what he wants and doesn't clarify much. Expects everyone to write PHD-level papers. I would say AVOID if you are not the essay type.

He is a pretty good professor! He can get annoying at times b/c he repeats the same thing over & over, but he is just trying to make sure everyone understands. He wants to make sure you succeed in his class & that you know how to write. I would advise him to anyone! I made a B in his class. Also, he doesn't believe in wasting money on books!

I went to class because I loved to go. Who knew that ALice in Wonderland was so sexual?? PLUS he's HOTTTTTTTTTT with hiscuteness and intelligence. I recommned, he takes his teaching very seriously. Did I mention is is sexxy
