Comment:
Norm is able to break down complicated topics into understandable pieces! He focuses more on interpretation and the conceptual aspect rather than just the math. It can be a little hard to keep up in class. There isn't much practice available, which makes the class hard. Tests are reasonable, but not easy.

Norm is absolutely HILARIOUS! He made stats, which is a hard class no matter what, quite fun, and I always looked forward to going to his class. There are 4 group projects though with like 6-7 people total in the group; 3 group quizzes and 1 final project, so just a heads up. The class is still hard tho by itself, but Norm is a great teacher.

Norm is an incredible professor. His methods of teaching are different, but they really work. He is brilliant and hilarious. I wish that more Stat courses were offered so I could continue to be in his class. If you're math-oriented the class isn't bad at all, if you're not then put in the work and you'll do decently.

Norm is one of the best professors in Bauer. Unlike most professors, he engages students by making them actually listen in on lectures instead of write down everything in the notes. He really cares for your success because he breaks down the statistical data from the tests so fully grasp your grade and how to pass. Great, chill, fun guy.

Norm is the best! His method of teaching STATS is unlike any other. He focuses heavily on understanding the concept and not just memorizing formulas. He strives to make you successful in your business career. Lectures are heavy and very important. Don't miss! Grading is very clear. Minimal assinged work outside of class. You will be forced to study

Norm is an amazing professor! I took him for Honors Statistics and I felt like I learned so much. Yes, the material is difficult and you will need to study and practice a lot in order to do well on the tests. He makes all of his lectures interesting and brings in lots of real-world examples to solidify the material.

Terrible professor. He runs through the material so quick as if he expects all of his students to already have taken a statistics course. I hired a tutor who actually knew how to teach to pass this class.

I like the guy and he is obviously very smart. But in his BI class the odds are stacked against you. He requires the use of outdated software that is only available in class and thats the way it is. You dont like it?- Too bad. Not willing to get the program that will work on newer machines for whatever reason. Help was not there when I asked.

He is a very good teacher, he wants you to learn, explains well so attend class, pay attention to his remarks, read the side comments in the book, most true false & multiple choices are from those, look online for practice questions, some of his questions are from those. A and B+ are possible if you work hard

There are some things that can be improved as far as how the class is organized and structured. Regardless, it is a great class and I learned a lot.
