Comment:

The course content is easy but her teaching style is not beneficial. She does not teach rather just talks the entire class. If you want to learn anything buy the book and just read that because she teaches with outdated articles. Her grading doesn't make sense at all, and it becomes just as frustrating as sitting in the class not learning anything.

I dont know why so many people dislike her teaching style she teaches the material very clearly and relates the material to basic life. I am dual enrolled and this was by far the easiest class Ive ever taken. She gives an easy extra credit opportunity almost every week and the tests are exactly like the study guide. Shes a very sweet woman.

Professor Fletcher was a good teacher. She went by the syllabus she gave out so you knew what to expect, and she loved when the class involved themselves in discussions.

I enjoyed the subject but disliked this class. We told to read the book, but she didn't teach from the book. You *must* show up for class and take notes. Her opinions are rather old-fashioned for me, despite saying she respects everyone's views, she tried to push her own views on you. She's not a bad teacher, but I disliked her teaching methods.

Fantastic teacher, especially for night class once a week. Super easy class as long as you keep up with it. She is very realistic, just don't be an idiot and she will gladly do whatever she can to help you do your best.

Mrs. Fletcher is way too tough of a grader. She gave me a 1/40 for one little mistake and no opportunity to fix it for a better grade. She also shows old movies that are extremely monotone and boring. Be ready to write a 3k word paper.

She is an extremely helpful professor! When I almost got removed from the class because of a mixed communication, she was glad to add me back in again. There are quite a few assignments, but all are short and simple. Overall an excellent professor.

I am extremely disappointed. As I love psychology and was looking forward to a more in depth knowledge of it. The content of this class is great and pertains to most aspects of life although this teacher is extremely difficult. I felt as though most of this work had to be done her way and most of the answers are HER opinionated answers...

Very hard on grading. I was so excited to take this class too but it has been a huge disappointment. Yes, she gives extra credit but not enough points on it to do anything. All the exams are from her lectures so make sure you attend and pay attention. Take lots of notes. 3000 word essay and she is tough on grading. Good luck!

This class was soooo interesting and the info can be used in everyday life. She gives you everything you need to know and you barely touch the book except for maybe to study for the test. She applies the information to real life situations so that you fully comprehend it. I would take this again and recommend it to everyone!

RECOMMEND! I tried to take psych at my old school and it just would not take. Prof. Fletcher made it easy, enjoyable, and understandable. There is a 3k word paper, but she makes it super easy and you could have it done the first week of class. Do not buy the book, everything you need to know she has in her lectures. Would take again in a heartbeat!

Best teacher I've had. I learned alot of useful things from this class and loved going. It is a bit difficult, but if you keep up and do the work, you'll understand everything clearly and it's very very easy to get a good grade. Final also had all the same questions from previous tests

Professor Fletcher is by far one of the WORST teachers! If you are actually interested in learning about psychology DO NOT take this class. She holds you much later than class should last, she easily gets off topic, and is very rude when you have questions. She is unclear with directions, and gives students so much attitude. Don't take!!

Take PSY, then DEP with her will be easier. I did. Don't buy PSY book, never used it. buy it for DEP. 3k paper for psy, 800wrd paper for DEP, 3tests,one final, and lots of extra credit on boths. Easy A if you do your work. turn in papers by deadline, talk to her if you can't. Good teacher, fair, caring, helpful, and smiles.
