took him for algebra last semester the class started with 40 students by the end of the semester only 16 were around. no one i know of in class had something nice to say about him!

At first I thought he was going to be difficult to understand (accent). I was wrong. Loved him he makes it very clear when working problems. And believe me I'm no genius. If you do the work, you will succeed. I would definitely take him again.

This professor is easy to take a class from. He seems to really want everyone to succeed, is accomidating to students who are sincere, and clearly explains the material. I took Algebra 27years ago and got a big fat F, now I'm getting an A. He is hard to understand due to his accent sometimes, but he seems to realize this and always repeats thing

Took him in 110A and thought it was hard. He's VERY helpful with online/post class questions. If you are ESL, find another teacher due to his heavy-ish chinese accent. However, I'm taking him in 110C ('A' so far) because I knew I could rely on doing well enough to pass and learning some hard math.

beginning of the semester, ppl start laughing, making fun of his accent, but later on you start getting bored, and you just wanna pass the class. the guy gets very excited and his accent makes him kinda cute lol. very helpful teacher and lets you make up for exams. he is not too bad.

Even though he is really into teaching and math, and doesn't hate you! He is extremely hard to understand (Accent way too strong) and he talks too fast. I was very upset with him because he graded me wrong. He marked my right answers wrong. Hence I failed the class. I got too tired of pointing out his errors. My tutor was enraged.Can I say ADD?!

Mr. Hu is a good teacher, but for the first week or two, i couldn't understand a word he was saying. He is an easy teacher, and the homework isn't hard. if you fail his class, you are pretty dumb. he explains everything, and it helps so much, if you can understand him.

Mr. Hu is the best math teacher Ive ever had! He is so clear (although his chinese accent is really strong). If you hate math and wish someone could just explain it to you in English, this is the professor. Every process is written out in English first! Im here at 8am this semester just to take his class!

If you get used to his accent, he's a pretty good teacher. Very straight forward in his grading. The weekly quizes help you understand and he offers extra credit. The HW is due weekly and isn't worth that much. He's a nice guy and wants to help.
