Great professor. Took her over the summer for advanced experimental. The workload included 3 exams, pop quizzes, labs in class, a presentation, and 2 papers. Always eager to help and curved exams if people don't do to well. Replied to emails QUICK! Tests based off lectures and lectures are clear. She uses PowerPoint. Would definitely take her again

She is the sweetest, nicest professor in the psych department. Ignore the comments below. This is the second time i'm taking her because she's great! Very fair grader (seems to add more pts in exams if ppl don't do well), uses great examples in class with videos, responds to emails fast, exams are straight from power point slides. Great Prof!

One of the best psych professors in QC. She's there to help you, responds to emails fast and is actually glad to help, unlike some profs that sound annoyed after shooting them an email. She's very considered, understanding, great lecturer, and fair. Study and you will ace the exams, no surprises. Drops lowest exam grade, easy hws/quizzes on BB

She is there to help you if you need her to. gives about 10 points curve, but you need to study, if you rely on cheating this class is not for you. It is impossible to cheat. Tests have different order of questions and different order of answers. You have to know the material to get a good grade.

3 tests, 1 essay based on eating habits, blackboard homeworks and quizzes. Does not review for the exam, but exam includes everything studied in class. I hated it that there'd be additional readings, long ones added to the test. But if you studied and read everything, it will be easy. or else you're screwed bc it is impossible to cheat

She is really sweet and great at teaching, goes out of her way to find videos that are related to the topic just so you can see it as an example and help you understand better. Really great professor. 3 tests, she makes 13 different copies of them to prevent cheating. Guaranteed no-one near u will have the same order of questions and answers.

she is amazing! she knows her material well and if you listen to her during lectures and take good notes, you should get an easy A!!! I dont know whats up with any of the bad comments. She is actually a very understanding, sweet, and caring professor who makes sure that all her students do well.

I took Exp. Psy. with her last semester at Queens College and before spring break, she had already stopped teaching the class. We got there and just waited the other people in the class to come in to run experiments. In the beginning she said she had to cut some of the material out, that it was too much but we got there and just sat there waiting.

Prof. Dateno is honestly one of the best professors Ive had at Queens College. She was extremely helpful and because of her I know how to write a research paper well. I am taking Advanced Psych now and will use her helpful worksheets as tools to guide me. She is truly an excellent professor and you should have no complaints. =)

This professor is absolutely wonderful. She is extremely helpful! She even came in during Spring Break to help students with their lab reports. There is a lot of work, but it's all worth it. Definitely take her if you have to take 213W for a Psych major.

She is such a pleasure to have as a teacher. She was very fair with her grading, if not generous, and will always give you extra help if you want it. She doesn't believe in making the material harder than it has to be and tells you exactly what to expect on exams. I definately recommend her.

She's not only very knowledgeable about Behavioral Psych, she's enthusiastic and passionate about the work she does with children. She highlights our readings by telling us about her hands-on experiences with the behavioral techniques, and she clarifies everything with plenty of examples.
