Comment:
The course appears to be very overwhelming at the beginning of the semester but her due dates are very doable and she provides helpful and constructive feedback. She is understanding of life events and will work with you on due dates if needed! Listen to what she recommends and there should be no reason you don't get an A in this class.

Her class is so poorly organized. Communication is terrible and only when everything is going wrong. The modules section doesn't even have a paper listed in it for you to know that it is an assignment to do. I can't wait to just get through this.

She's awful and has a cold heart. You have to take her so its inevitable, but beware. If there is ANYTHING personal going on in your life, be ready for her to tell you to 'suck it up'. Beware

I would tell you to avoid this instructor, but you are required to take her class if you are in UCF Nursing School. She reads power-point lectures word for word and adds very little input. Most of the lectures are based in A&P / Biology and fail to bridge the gap between basic knowledge and applied nursing. Good luck, 30% of our class failed.

Leli's style of teaching is "HANDS OFF". She doesn't care about her students, at all. Even Hitler had more compassion than Leli could muster on her best day. Her parking space at Orlando campus is the one with the broom in it. You think by using that and avoiding traffic she would be in a good mood. NEVER! Go to Tampa or Gainsville to avoid her!!!

WOW!! What should have been a fun class because it is the foundation of our practice, was hellish. Leli and a gaggle of other teachers ruined this class. Leli's tests are pointless and I think she makes them difficult so you will pay her $300 to take her NCLEX review. Its a scam for sure. If more people fail her class more will pay her for help.

Leli is old school, because I'm sure back in the day reading stuff to students was cutting edge. She has zero interpersonal skills. Just read the book and don't expect her to ever get back in touch with you. If you have to sit through an ITV course bring earplugs and read the book on your own. USELESS INSTRUCTOR!!

OK let's face it. Ms. Leli is old school. She will not give you a warm fuzzy feeling, but rather you must earn her respect. Unfortunately, there is little opportunity to do so. So just get used to feeling completely incompetent in her presence. I still think she is a brilliant and one of the best nurses around. I highly respect her for that

Brilliant nurse with extremely high standards; talented at lecturing. Does use intimidation and projects dislike/disdain if not pleased. I'm not sure how effective this is as a teacher. Think of the old-fashioned, strict nurse prototype, and you've got it. Opinionated (and often right)...don't argue with her regardless.

Ms. Leli's part of NUR 3235 has been interesting so far. Very professional, so mind your behavior when around her. Her lecture notes are clear and to the point, too bad she doesn't give time for discussion during class. Her studyguides are helpful, so use them!!! Study hard for her exams and nothing else!

Well I'd tell you to avoid her class but if you're in UCF SoN then you can't so, heh, good luck. One word of advice, DON'T give that woman any money to take her Kaplan course before the NCLEX. She'll scare the wits out of you but it's all talk. I studied at home with the Mosby review and I passed with 75 questions and saved 300 bucks.

I can't quite put my finger on it with this lady. Frankly, I don't trust her. She is rarely there when you need help and don't even try to question anything she does. You'll only waste your breath, unless you find her shrill screechy voice as she tries to defend herself amusing (and I do). =)

She is very experienced in her field, and she has a great understanding of nursing. Her tests are NCLEX based, and they test your knowledge of the subject matter. After all we are taking care of peoples lives, so we should be able to understand the material and interpret it so know one is killed.

Her test do not test you understanding or knowledge of the subject matter. Dont get on her bad side, or your stay at UCF nursing school will be hell (has denied grades by 0.025%). Cries in class and has no humor. Worst professor I have had.

Her tests are hard, but they're NCLEX style questions. She merely reads the powerpoint and lacks practical expereience in the nursing field. You have to take her,so don't get on her bad side or she'll make nursing school especially difficult for you.
