Very cynical, rather unenthusiastic about teaching. Not very approachable. Class consists mostly of partner activities out of the book, but he will occasionally make a visual document of some sort to teach the class about a difficult topic, which is helpful. He's not unusually difficult on grading, either.

If you are a C student, take him. He will spoon-feed you. If you are an A student, avoid. This is because this instructor himself is poor at French; very strong English accent, inaccurate grammar, and he himself uses English half the class period. He also distributes a seven-page class code of conduct at the beginning of the semester.

I don't think he was EVER on time...even to the final he was late lmao...all i can remember are his dirty jokes and desk throwing lol...good professor but only when he wants to be and u show interest...other than that he can be a bad prof too...he has his days

He's a little cooky, but what prof isn't? He's rather dry and cynical and reminds me a lot of Lewis Black. He expects people to be accountable for themselves, but is very willing to help so long as you ask.

If you try in class, he'll recognize it and respect you. If you don't care, he'll know, and he'll stop caring, speak english to you, and generally ignore you. I was into it and I had a lot of fun- he's a very funny guy, if you can catch his quick jokes. Speak up in class, in French, and take advantage of his help on compositions. I liked his class.

He is really nice and i like his interest in dark comedy, and all of his jokes. he has a tendency to pick out someone in his class that he doesn't like. laugh at his jokes and speak french in class and you'll at least get a B.

I took French as an elective and this professor made showing up to class a pain. Teaching mostly in English, his pedagogue is weak and he does the same thing everyday making the class feel mundane and routine. He shows no enthusiasm in teaching and makes students teach themselves in pairs while he sits back and waits for people to ask a questions

So great, I took two classes with him. He is funny, unintimidating, and really seems to enjoy teaching. Don't try to BS him - just because he's nice doesn't mean he's a complete pushover. Appreciate his generosity but don't take advanatage of it.
