Had him as my AP English teacher. I know this is for his St. John's students, but I have to say he is one of the best English teachers I've ever had. He has many stories to tell, and loves etymology, euphemisms, and quotes.

Professor Paul Franzetti's class has so far one of the best classes I have ever taken. His lectures are amazing and trust me, the 3 hours class just flies. He makes you read a lot but it is totally worth it. Not an easy A but you will live his class!

Holds you for the whole 3 hours but they fly by. He has amazing stories and is full of passion for life. You learn a lot from him. Test every class on the readings, he leaves all the notes on the board which cover MOST of the questions. Couple essays, 200 words max but he grades them hard. Read up on the stories ahead of time and participate

One of the best professors I've had so far. He makes a three hour class fly with jokes and summarizing the story you were assigned. The notes he write on the board about the book stay on the board while you take the test which is very helpful. I recommend not missing class because perfect attendance will boost your grade. Assigns 3- 200 word papers

3 Tips to get an A: 1. Dont' miss any classes 2. Read the material before class 3. Participate Never met such a sweetheart like him and he made the 3 hour night class worthwhile with dry jokes and with his passion for reading. He enjoys comparing the books and short stories to philosophy and never failed to inspire me after every class.

Prof Franzetti is a very nice man! He is really fun and his classes are always interesting! However, grading wise he's a bit tough. Quizzes/Tests are straight foward, he discusses everything prior to the test but you still have to read. He's pretty tough on the essays though, and that's going to be the thing bringing down your grade. It's a TOUGH A

Tough, but fair, grader on essays and quizzes. He can tell whether or not you read the books in class and also helps you understand things you overlooked during class discussions. Not an easy A, though, you have to work hard.

This man really makes you work hard and there's lots of tests/quizzes/essays to write. One thing I really liked about him though was that he was so interesting to listen to..and I don't find many English teachers interesting to listen to. The quizzes aren't that hard but he doesn't give A's easily for essays. And he does check attendance everyclass

This teacher is not only able to teach, but he can go in depth into literature like no one else would ever dare to. He can find a theme in just one sentence, and go so in depth into it. He always looks at literature literally and in a nonliteral sense. He can easily capture the element in any kind of literature you can find.

DR. Franzetti is the sweetest man i've met. He's is extremely funny and mostly goes off on other topics. I have really enjoyed his class and hope to take him again. He's a real sweetheart.
