If you read this comment please trust me. Do not take Professor Jovanis by any chance. You will regret it. He knows a lot about highway engineering, but, he does not know how to teach a class. He just reads from the slides that were always full with mistakes and typos. This course could be very interesting but he makes it very boring.

You will regret it. This guy thinks everyone taking this class is all about transportation. I spent more time on this course than I did on concrete this semester.

Dr. J was very helpful and informative. Most quizes allowed for one equation sheet and sometimes were open book. The CAD project isn't hard as long as you stay on top of it each week, that being said, the lab day attendance isn't mandatory. Overall his lectures were to the point and pretty interesting.

Waste of a class. That hour I could have spent better at the bar, or sticking a spoon in my eye, or lickin lead paint...you get the idea. It's a shame that all CE's MUST take this crap

He's also my advisor, and he's very helpful in that respect too. His classes are fair, and at least from what I've seen, his tests are easy. If you take any CE classes, look for him.
