Gives an overwhelming amount of homework. So much that you can't really sit down and do well or you won't finish. Many of the problems that are on tests and quizzes aren't related to what was done in class.

I had Seeburger for calc 3 and DiffEQ online. He gives out a lot of graded homework but doesnt grade the written assignments too harshly. He mostly nickel and dimes you for notation and other errors. Tests are easier and gives out a lot of bonus points. (10-15/test) Ive thoroghly enjoyed taking these classes and have taken away a lot from them!

Prof. Seeburger was not a favorite professor of mine. he gives out a ton of HW, written and online. It probably helped, but i felt overwhelmed at times. He also struggled to present the material in a logical, easy to understand way. The only reason I got an A in the class is because the class was actually pretty easy to learn and understand alone.

I took the online version of this class. There is a large amount of material Prof. Seeberger covers in this class. If you procrastinate this class is not for you. I felt lectures were sometimes vague. I was unable to have an outside resource for help, which made it more difficult for me. Tests were very fair. Notation matters.

I have never had a professor give out as much work as him. When asked questions in class, you have a 50/50 chance of him actually answering the question. He's also the harshest grader I've had. If you don't like doing homework and don't like being stressed out, then don't take a class with him.

I'm drowning in his summer online class. Daily hw takes me 5+hrs and there is no time to learn the material, while struggling with Webwork. Lecture videos are unnecessarily long, since they are recordings of him in class. It's week one and I have spent every day on math, with only meal breaks (not exaggerating). His class is really frustrating!

Seeburger knows the material, and he presents the material well when he's not hurried in a great fashion. However, he is a harsh grader, taking points off for notation. He also buries students with homework. Did I learn from the man? Yes, a lot. However, did I resent his class at times? Yes.

Overwhelming amount of work. I had to continue in this class because I'm graduating at RIT and need this to graduate. Do not take his class. I had to drop one of my classes at RIT just to accommodate his insane homework schedule. I like practice and homework, but this is just impossible. It's not the material, it's the teacher.

Really great experience taking Calculus III with Prof. Seeburger. Yes, he assigns a decent amount of homework, but I don't think you can do well in this subject without practice. His grading is fair and helpful, he's very clear, and if you put in the effort you'll do well. He's always working to improve the class and really wants you to succeed.

If you don't write things down on hw and test EXACTLY like he does in his notes. You will not pass. If you like doing 16 hw assignments a night take his class. He tries to be an MIT professor. I had him as an in class professor and the class was pretty much an online course so. Avoid at all costs. Plus he always keeps the class late.

Here's the thing with prof seeburger, he wants you to see the structure behind the topic discussed. He know's you're just pining for the algorithm and he refuses to give it to you because it's been a crutch during your math career. Yes he gives a lot of homework, but you'll come away with a strong foundation for future classes.

I loved math. Everyone told me calc 2 was the hardest and it was my favorite math class to date. So I was pretty excited for calc 3. Now I just end up mad every time I go to class or do homework. Seeburger might be good at math, but he takes all the joy out of it for me.

The class is hard, yes. However, Prof. Seeburger does try his best with you to make you understand the work, and not just find an answer. For those who failed, did you put all your effort forward, or did you expect to be spoon fed. Yes the class req. a lot of hard work, but it is college the work should be expected. Otherwise you didnt seek out help

Gives loads of work, and a lot of the homework was far more difficult than anything I saw on any test. However, he got me to understand anything I had trouble with. Best of all, if you miss class or are confused on a topic, you can use the Mdrive to re-watch any of the semester's lectures. He's also very nice and genuinely cares for his students

I think he's a great professor, but I take school seriously. People expect to be spoonfed a quick fix to not understanding math and they're looking for the holy grail. He may have high expectations, but he does more for you than most other math professors I've had. You have to do your part. I thought he was extremely helpful in office hours.

Has very high expectations of his students. If you don't have a lot of extra time to do hw then avoid this professor. He is very intelligent, but his social and teaching skills are lacking.
