Comment:

Sometimes comes off rude but an overall good Professor. All her slides are on canvas so even if you miss a couple lectures, you can catch up just fine. You get to use a 3x5 one sided note card as a cheat sheet on tests. Definitely an easy A. Do the honors project in her class too if you can (youll get priority registration for the next semester).

I almost dropped this class just because of the reviews but decided to stick with it because it was just winter intersession.. glad i stuck with it! Easy class if u jump ahead and keep up with deadlines. She always responded to emails fairly quickly and was polite. Just give this class a chance!

My friends avoided taking her class b/c of these reviews & took nutrition at SJCC/SJSU instead. They regretted it so much b/c it's a million times harder there. Ignore the haters and take a chance on Prof. Gorbach. She's an easy A as long as you put effort and follow the assignment's directions. You don't even have to speak up in class. Easy tests.

Comment:

She is so nice. A little rambly, but an easy grader as long as you follow her directions. Another reviewer says she nitpicks, but I don't have perfect grammar and was never marked down on assignments. I literally followed directions and got A's on everything. The only people in class who did bad were ones who didn't show up or pay attention.

She is one of the best prof at EVC. Pls dont trust in negative comments, its totally different from what ppl said. You decide what grade you get, so don't blame the prof. Everything is clear and easy, as long as you read the instructions, she goes over assignments in class. If you think its hard to pass, then you should think about yourself.

Professor Gorbach is an amazing teacher. She really knows her material and if you put in an effort to do well in this class, she tells you how much she appreciates your effort. Powerpoint lectures were easy to understand and she'll explain anything you don't get. Gives study guides for all exams and a cheat sheet. GIVES EXTRA CREDIT. TAKE HER CLASS

Don't bother with the textbook. As long as you pay attention in her class, you'll never need it. She's very straightforward and obviously cares about her students because she responds to your assignments with unique and thorough comments. The only people who don't do well are the ones who don't pay attention/can't follow directions.

Gorbach is very clear on what she expects. Content is a bit dry but that's not her fault. She lets you write notes on a 3x5 notecard to bring into tests. The tests are very easy, because it is everything she reviews. The assignments are easy if you follow the instructions.

One of the kindest teachers I've ever met. Idk y she has bad ratings. She walks everyone through her assignment instructions twice to make sure everyone understands whats going on. She will review her lectures and her tests are exactly what she reviews. Everything is very clear and she gives LOTS of extra credit.

She is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Not helpful when you ask questions on her vague assignments because she expects you to know everything. She will give attitude, talk down on you just for seeking help. Harsh grader on minor mistakes for hw. Asks to see you in her office hours just to roast you. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. so much regret.

Peggy Garbage was not a fair teacher, she was passive when you asked questions about her unclear assignments, she was quick to jump to conclusions about all her students being lazy and talked down to those who showed up late its a college class you don't have to call everyone out, Piggy will not give you a fair grade you have been warned don't take

she goes through the slides pretty quickly, but she does post them on canvas for you to look at them. She gives lots of in class participation assignments, so if you miss class the day she does an assignment in class, you don't get any points. she does however give a lot of extra credit opportunities.

I would never take this professor again , nor would I recommend her to anyone. Her study guides are pretty much useless compared to the tests. Will deduct points away from assignments for very minor things, literally even a missing comma which is ludicrous. Save yourself and don't take her if you care about your grades.

life management online class supposes a easy and inspired class, but she make it boring and stressful. she is so picky on gramma mistakes and typos, she even grade you down a lot on those mistakes. She asks too much on an easy GE class. it is not a wise choice of taking her class.
