I don't know why people are so harsh. There was a midterm, a paper that was based on documentaries instead of a research paper, and a final. Both tests she posted prior review questions. If you actually take your head out of your phones and laptops and participate she will be generous with your grade and you may actually learn! Great Professor

I mean shes a sweet lady dont get me wrong but like worst grader Makes you read paragraphs from her lecture and gives a lot of papers Expects you to read the entire textbook and calls on you 24/7 The effort you have to put into her class equals about 4 classes She emails back quick other than that dont expect grades ever Do yourself the favor

Signed up for this class under a different prof but she ended up teaching the course. Discussion posts are the same as the writing assignments. She expects you to be in depth in 3-4 pages but asks a million questions to answer. I'm convinced you can only get an A if you regurgitated the entire textbook. Very passionate but I shouldve pass/failed

Overall, she was a pretty good professor. She cares about her students and wants everyone to pass. She is extremely passionate about the subject and knows what she is talking about. I actually enjoyed the class and learned a lot from her. There's a midterm, paper, and final for an overall grade.

Boy was I wrong to take this class. Super unclear when it comes to grading. She grades things too late and doesn't really let you do anything to boost your grade. You're also graded on a pretty minimal amount of stuff (at least in the online class), and she makes discussion posts worth the same as papers, but only assigns like 3-4 posts.

I'm not sure what class the people below me took, but avoid this professor at all costs! Sure, she is passionate about her field- but prepare to wait months to get any feedback about your work. When you do get a grade back, it is already far too late to improve. If you ask for clarification, you will end up more confused than where you started.

I really enjoyed Dr. Papazahariou class. Her class is very interesting and also she grades her students fairly and is always willing to help. She cares about her students a lot . I will definitely recommend her.

I took this class online so obviously theres a level of self-learning. Dr. Papazahariou obviously really knows what she's doing and is passionate about her field. Sometimes instructions can be unclear about when assignments are due and where things are located on blackboard, other than that, if you do all assignments you'll be fine.

She is completely unorganized and doesn't stick to the syllabus. There is no schedule to when she assigns work and she often says she will post something on blackboard and then doesn't. She doesn't grade anything until the very end of the semester and allows no late work. The feedback that she gives is very vague and makes no sense. DO NOT TAKE!

She is very helpful as long as you participate in class, make comments every now and then and answer her questions. She might be a little confusing at times but overall she makes it a very interesting, dynamic class. I would definitely take her again, but keep in mind attendance and participation are big with her.

BEST ADVISE>Skim the articles.Be the 1st to participate( 2-3 key points) and you can chill the rest of the class. I NEVER READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE BECAUSE "AINT NO BODY GOT TIME FO DAT." Write down her examples/fav words. Papers are easy if you take good notes of what others/she say(s). If she gets "excited" WRITE IT DOWN! EASY A. BE SMART PPL.

Do not take her for DNY! For Sociology, she's a pretty good professor once she stops rambling about how the class should act. She goes over the material and explains unclear theories, gives examples, and asks us to contribute to the class. If you talk a lot, she'll love you; I got a horrible grade for the M.Term but she gave me a B+ because I talk.

Best advice:DO NOT TAKE HER! She is insane and teaches you absolutely nothing. Can't understand a word she says because of her thick accent and she makes no sense when she opens her mouth! Goes on for 3 hours about nothing and argues when you speak. Ask her a question she won't answer it and will get mad if you say she didnt answer the question.
