The best professor I have ever had. Clear syllabus, great feedback, and well organized. He really knows his subject matter. I took him at Eastern Gateway Community College. If you shortchange an answer, he will call you out on it (which he should). Thanks Dr. Conis! I hope to have you in other classes as well.

Great Professor. He was so easy and laid back. His exams you can take two times and after you take it the first time all the answers show up and then you can take it again and plug in those answers. So you are guaranteed an A on the exams. I would definitely take another one of his classes.

Awesome instructor and class. It was a lot of work, but I was able to finish it two weeks after school started and he graded it all right then and there. Easy. Do the work right and you'll be fine. Make sure to know how to use APA format.

Comment:

This guy was so great its hard to know where to begin! He knows that people can't always make it to class, especially when its an evening class, so he makes *everything* available online. Show up early or stay late and you can have some pretty interesting conversations with him. He has great guest speakers that you can learn a lot from. I also loved that you were allowed to pretty much go at your own pace with all the tests online. For 340 the weekly discussion questions seemed to get a bit tedious, but it was doable. For 341/352 (all online), there are no discussion questions, but a LOT of tests get quite tedious once you get to test 20 and higher. Keep track of your answers though and which ones you get wrong. If you feel that you shouldn't have gotten a question wrong, you can e-mail him and he'll give you the points back if you can provide sufficient evidence for why you think you're right. I got back many points doing this in all 3 classes I've taken from him. I'm just sad that he's not teaching in person anymore, his lectures were fabulous!

Great guy, always gives a unbiased opinion which is important in this class. Former Ames cop, but you wouldn't know it by talking to him. Class is cake but it's fun and you learn alot.
