You will definitely want to drop this class, BUT if you just stick with it you will be so glad you didn't. Phyllis is eccentric. She is not afraid to state her opinion and you better hope your opinion agrees with hers. At the end of the day, if you read the chapters and participate in class discussions, you'll GREATLY appreciate what you learned!

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!! Can not believe she is able to teach, wouldn't be surprised if she gets sued. Degrading, talks down to students, poor quality, waste of time AND money. THE WORST TEACHER EVER! if you are outspoken about your beliefs and ideas this is NOT the class for you. She will step on you humiliate you infront of everyone w/o a prob. Make sure you double check grade she's border line alltymers keep all of your work and shut your mouth if you do decide to take a trip to HELL! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!!

Do not EVER take phyllis. she is a psycho. words really can't describe my experience with this arrogant, power hungry, belligerent, and verbally abusive 'teacher'. she does in now way care about you, your opinions, or anything other than humilating every student in some way or other and to make your class time a living hell. she needs to be fired.

Worst teacher ever! Rude, likes to hear herself talk, humilates her students, not allowed to take notes. Cohabitation leads to divorce!!! That's just how it is...HER WORDS. When a hispanic student didn't anwser her right away she said " I know there is a language barrier here but I only ask my questions once" RUDE! Survived? Complain to the DEAN.

Absolutely WORST prof EVER! If you can avoid taking her, trust me AVOID IT! She is soooo rude. She claims "we learn from eachother" but dictates the discussion. IF you speak out of turn, ruffle your papers, cough or blink wrong SHE WILL CALL YOU OUT! she is very unprofessional. If you have a question on your homework she will NOT entertain it.

The rudest teacher a student could ever have. She demands the up most respect from her students but does that lead by example. She doesn't like people to interrupt her yet she interrupts her students while they are speaking. everything you say is basically always wrong to her even though she claims to listen to your opinion. If you need the class and want a good grade this is the class for you. However, there will be a price to pay. Only agree with the instructor,or the book and stay clear from your own opinion unless it supports hers. Participation is a must in class and reading. Mrs. Bartram is challenging but you learn so much about yourself in this class. She really pushes you to think about things. She is VERY CLEAR & STRICT about her rules.. but their easy to follow. I thought she was kinda mean in class but shes just trying to reach out to you. As long as youre respectful youre fine. Out of class shes the nicest lady!

She is a hard teacher. Nothing gets past her and you cannot express your own opinion unless you want to get ridiculed for it. It's really wither her way or the highway, no in between what so ever. Her class, however, is an easy A, there are no finals, no mid term, none of sorts. So if you get your feelings hurt eaisly, dont take this class.

I LOVE THIS TEACHER! SHE IS VERY STRICT, ALL SHE ASKS IS FOR YOU TO RAISE YOUR HAND AND PARTICIPATE IN CLASS DISCUSSIONS. YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW MUCH YOU WILL LEARN FROM THIS VERY SMART WOMEN.
