The paper, she grades it very hard. The exams weren't that hard, but it did contain off the wall questions, so it does help to be from New Orleans.Showing up to class and taking notes is a must. I did get an A in this class.

awful teacher. she spoon feeds everyone and grades inconsistently. if you're not a louisiana native, don't take this class. her exams are more trivial rather than actual history. she spends more time on gender and race than she does actual louisiana history. she is not open minded. she professes what she thinks and thats it, whether true or not.

If you are looking for an easy A, dont take this class.Cant take lecture notes? Dont take this class.Afraid of work, or afraid of presenting your work to the class or teacher?Nope not for you.If you want to learn history from an intelligent and enthusiastic professor, sign up.She is stern but NEVER unfair.This is college,hard work will be required.

This lady is a stick in the mud. She freaks out if cell phones ring, and just talks to entire 3 hr. sessions. We also watch a ton of movies. The subject can be interesting, but she is such a prude that she is intimidating. I haven't taken a test yet, but i have written one paper. she was very particular on its format. (we had to use endnotes)

absolutely terrible professor. during breaks, the class would meet outside to talk about how terrible she was. her idea of teaching is reading from a book and showing videos. treats students as if they're in middle school. really overall just incompetent.
