Comment:

Never been one to seek out "hard-but-good" professors, but Yeoh is amazing. Yes, she is difficult and the class is a lot of work. But you'll get much better at completing cases and the feeling of finally getting the simulation and doing well is awesome. Also cares so much about her students, go to her office hours to talk about literally anything

Professor Yeoh makes it very clear on day one that she is expecting your maximum effort in this class. If you are not willing to put in the work for a good grade, switch out immediately. The group project is a considerable portion of the class, however she walks you through each step and you will learn a lot. Tests on her slides and the book.

She is a tough grader and manages to confuse more than teach. She tries to teach but all she keeps concluding is that you are more stupid than she expected you to be. Avoid at all cost

Comment:

MK322 is a tough class and Yeoh makes it bearable. Big group project with 4 different deliverables, but provides great and constructive feedback. Gives opportunities for rewrite, so not sure what the other student is talking about.

Don't take her, her guideline for the group project is unclear. And if you ask her how is the draft, she will tell you that you did great, and then give you 80. Is that great? She is a tough grader. Provide practice exam? Yes. But the real exam is much harder than the practice. When you ask why she will tell you life is always challenge. AVOID!!!!!

Professor Yeoh is not a bad professor for GB 320. Sometimes she is unclear, but she shows that she actually cares about her students even though she knows the class is hard. Regardless of who you takes for GB 320, it's a hard class. But Yeoh gives you opportunities to improve your grade and bases it more off of effort than anything else.

Yeoh is awesome. She's hard and expects a lot from you, and she can be a bit confusing at times, but she will work with you to make your work better. Extremely helpful! Great prof, would take again.

Professor Yeoh's class was awful. Marketing is simply a waste of time. It's all just common sense material and the tests make you recite dumb terminology that is useless in the real world. This is the first time that I have had to use rate my professor, but I feel obligated to do so because it was just that bad

Can't quite figure why some others rate her as well as they do. I think she's an average teacher at best, and I didn't find her that helpful. She is knowledgeable, for sure, but it takes more than a PhD to make a good professor.

She knows what she's talking about in class, but I'm not sure that she is a very nice person. When I tried to reach her out of class, by email, she never responded. Her tests are not designed to test you - they're designed to trick you. Interesting textbook. I would imagine there are better GB301 marketing professors.

Yeoh is one of those teachers that tries to scare you in the first class. But dont drop it! She's extremely nice and is a great teacher. Tests are very tricky though and sometimes she is hard to get in contact with outside of class. But overall she teaches the material well. Take if willing to take on a challenge and like marketing

She is an incredible woman. She is brilliant and funny. She is sharp as a tack! No, she is not easy, but you are at Bentley to learn, yes? Highly recommended. I adore this woman. She is wonderful!

Definitely knows how to teach students about marketing.Only problem is her exams are HARD.Her grading structure for exams is not the best. 40% on midterm 40% on the final, but can make the midterm worth less, and the final more. Lovely person and definitely says whats on her mind. AMAZING project professor.LISTEN to what she says.TAKE HER for both

Yeoh is extremely passionate about teaching. She explains the material very well, but you have to read the text in order to do well in the Marketing Module. She allows for extra credit. Overall, great professor. Recommended.

Class isn't hard, tests are just tricky. She's a nice lady, she just expects alot. Posts different slides on blackboard than the ones she lectures with. Lectures are very broad. Must read textbook and thoroughly understand concepts to do well on exams.

She refers to herself as "the terminator" when it comes to grading the business plans. She is a nice person but don't get duped into thinking the class is easy because of that. The exams are very hard. Do well in the other modules and your grade will balance out.
