Comment:

This was my first time taking any programming classes. She is really nice, caring and helps you whenever you want. But there is a lots and lots of reading and everything feels accelerated. The quizzes are hard but the mid term and finals are easy if you read from her guides. As long as you devote a lot of time, you will easily pass.

Loved this class. Although she's a tough grader, she's a great professor. She always answered my emails and reassured me my grade was fine. I had an A all semester but her final nailed me. It's all good though. I'd take her class again.

I took Professor Dodds for an online CSC course, it was fairly easy, the answers were available online for some of the work if needed. Honestly if you just show up and do all of york, this could be a great grade for your GPA especially since it a worth 3 credit hrs. Professor Dodd normally gets back to you rather quickly via email as well!

Professor Dodds was fantastic. I have very little interest in computers an applications, but when I needed to contact her for help she was right there to assist me even though it was an online course. Tests are easy. Everything is on quizlet lol. Just have to get through the end of the semester projects which are difficult.

Professor Dodds is a wonderful instructor who is quick to respond and offer any support or assistance needed. Tests were long, difficult, and timed. Extensive reading and note taking are essential to understanding the material. Highly recommend Professor Dodds!

She's a great professor. The video lectures are helpful. I did great on the projects and discussions. The quizzestests tripped me up for some reason though. They weren't hard by any means. I would definitely recommend this professor.

Very helpful professor. I took both 1300 and 1301 with her and both classes were great. She explains things very well. Even though taking CSCI online is difficult sometimes, she makes it worthwhile. Highly recommend.

One of the best professors at GPC, particularly for the online classes. Having taken two classes by her I can say she's fair in grading and does a good job presenting what could be difficult material in a learnable way. She also provides useful feedback and is always encouraging. Highly recommend.

Prf. Dodds is an amazing professor. She is extremely organized and detailed. Her class is very demanding, but her critiques really help point out areas of improvement and help to drive home the material. If you are not disciplined and willing to truly learn the material, do not take the class online. I have taken both 1300 and 1301 with her.

She was very understanding, gave notes and videos, and responded to emails quickly. Fair grader. The quiz times were a bit insane for 75-100 questions. MUST USE CD/TEXTBOOK. Easy A/B if you follow her instructions but nothing a little research can't solve. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Dodds was not helpful on understanding anything but on learning C++. She got angry with me for asking a question, the final was difficult and I barely passed the class when I've never made anything less than an A at GPC. Do not take her if you hate reading or learning out of a book, because that's all I did the entire semester.

I took her online class this spring. She is extremely helpful, responds quickly to emails, provides extensive feedback on labs. She is also very understanding. This is, however, a difficult course with weekly labs (usually 1 or 2, but we had 3 due one week) and a weekly quiz. I learned a lot in this course though.

Professor Dodds is hands down the best professor I've had at GPC. The textbook used is very simple and easy to understand. She sends extensive feedback on labs and she was very understanding. I took her class online. It is a difficult course, but I learned a lot!
