He is the worst professor I have met he does not make things clear he is rude and he grades unfairly he ask for hw and does not grade it he says test are 50% or your grade?? So I do not recommend you take him for Spanish!

He is very unhelpful he doesn't offer any type of help. His test are whatever he decides to put on the test. The classroom is divided, the Spanish speakers and those don't understand. it's a shame that he could careless and he's very talkative. The class is test based. One of the professors that do not sincerely care.

He is an amazing, knowledgable, though-provoking professor. He taught Latin Literature and how it applied, he is talkative, but engaging. This isn't a normal professor, he is a GENIUS, and it was a pleasure to be able to pick his brain. This is what college is about.

This professor was great! He was very helpful speaks clearly. Always made the class interesting. Fair in grading and was always willing to help out when needed. He is always cracking jokes but is very serious about his work. He is awesome recommend him to anyone!

Professor Figueras is a great person. He loves to make jokes and always includes his students in the lessons. He is humble,caring and lets u hand in things late if you talk to him. i have had 3 different classes with him and he is great!

I took Prof Figueras a few times before. He is absolutely magnificent! He's so intelligent, helpful, and passionate about what he teaches. Seriously, this man knows EVERYTHING. Haha, so, yeah, he's really great. I def recommend him.

he is the best. he is so funny , so friendly, you dont feel time in his class because it is so enjoyable. He is just fair . i took him for composition 2 this summer he give us 2 essays and 1 research paper. That is all what we had to do. He is too nice , its very hard to describe how wonderful he is.

Professor Figueras is the kind of teacher you hate to say good bye to at the end of the semester. He is always joking which made me have a great time in class and always throws in the history behind what he is teaching. He is an amazing teacher whom i learned a lot from. I can not wait to take his class again.

He is one of the best prof. If you dont like ecomonics but have to take this class, this guy is right for you. He loves to talk and best part is that everyone else would love to listen. Explains everything clearly and his tests are not that hard if you pay attention in class. He wont bore you. He jokes about his mother in law all the time.

The man is a genius. He relates Latin American Lit to many subject fields and can still tie a knot to connect them all. A walking encyclopedia seriously. Not only does he teach well, but he is friendly and really laid back to talk to if you need advice. Make sure you have some interest in writing.

Very nice, talkative, and knowledgable professor. But sometimes he goes too far from lecture topic with answering questions and joking about his mother in law.Even though his lectures were fun, I needed a book to be ready for his tests. Still the same system-5 tests, drop the lowest plus final 20%,and your grade is based on the score from all tests

This professor was okay, he gave homework every week and to all that want to know, he makes you stay until the very endof class!!! sometime even a few minutes later, olther than that, he was very knowledgeable about the course and is very understanding!!!
