There is a lot of material to cover in this course. It was an 8 week class online, and wasn't terribly difficult. Do not bother emailing the professor about anything. He does not have time for any "sob" stories.

I have taken numerous math classes so the material is not too difficult. What made this class dreadful is the instructor. He takes his time returning emails. He could care less about students passing and is not approachable. Constantly sends lengthy emails putting other student on blast when they have a question. He is not flexible at all.

As long as you do all the online homework on time you will have no problem getting an A or B in this class. The homework has a "help me solve this" option which is very helpful. Great hybrid online class.

Professor Rex is a genuine guy and cares about his students. I took his online financial accounting course over summer and it was a piece of cake. The homework assignments are easy considering you have the option to 'help me solve this' and the quizzes and tests are literally the homework. He also emails you back VERY quickly. Take this course.

Rex is a great guy. If you are just TERRIBLE at math, you can easily get an A in the class. All work is done online in licensed garbage he will talk endlessly about hating. He lets you use homework and the book for all tests, including the Final. If you do your homework and know how to take screenshots, you can get an A by just showing up. 3 Rex!

Rex likes to go on on tangents sometimes, but he loves engaging with the students. He will email you back within an hour when you have a question. He wants everyone to get an A. I would highly recommend him for ACCT116AB. Class is done through Mcgraw Hill Connect and you have 5 days to work on the exams at home.

I took this class over the summer and it was really easy. He does talk about his life a lot so I mostly taught myself from the book and MyAccountingLab but he was helpful and wants his students to learn. He did take roll every class. All tests and homework are on MyAccountingLab. Recommend him.

It is impossible to not get an A in the class. There are so many easy points in this class. Just do the hw and quiz in Mal and you will be fine. You will need the book for this class because he mostly spend the majority of the time in class talking about his life.

Rex's Managerial Acct class is way easier than his Financial Acct class. Group project was fun. He does talk a lot and go off on tangents, but his examples are from real life experience. Do the reading and hw on time and you will do great. He always emails back within 2 hours if you have a question (pretty fast for an instructor).

He's a great teacher, he helped me whenever i needed help and answered right away. He had video clipettes and all kinds of useful tools that helped me. It's a hard course so don't expect it to be easy but as long as you read, ask questions, look at his videos, youll do just fine. You can easily get a hold of him and you can tell he's glad to help.

Obviously these students who rate him so low, don't want to learn. Prof. Rex is the best teacher. He knows accounting upside down. Very quick in responding questions and grading. Very organized and willing to share his knowledge about everything. The best teacher ever...

I took the computer acct. app. class online. Prof. Schildhouse is understanding and willing to help his students learn and succeed. This class can be intense (you have to read nearly every page of the textbook to get QB reports correct) so highly recommend not taking many other classes. He does allow you to resubmit reports to improve your score.

Full Disclosure: I dropped this class after the first class. The professor was self-absorbed and had no respect for his student's time. I am not working a full time job and then going to school at night to listen to your boring life stories that in no way help me learn what I need to. Please REX, stick to the subject matter, NO ONE IS INTERESTE

This class was not easy to start with. His grading scale is too hard. 76 to 84% is a C. Homework due every week. Lecture is long and can get confusing if you're not already familiar with Accounting. He goes on tangents that can be fun...but then you're kind of lost as to what you were suppose to take note of.

Take this class if you want to really learn acct. It's as simple as that. Yes, he talks a lot and takes class all the way to the end, but its worth it if you want to truly learn real world acct. Do yourself a favor and skip all the easy A's on campus and take this class!! It's not a hard A, but its harder than some of the other profs.
