Dr. Bissessur excels in drawing in his students by relating the material to everyday applicable examples or scenarios. He also 'reads the room' exceptionally well, providing comedic relief which is typically a hit. However, he keeps his students engaged mostly by his sheer natural passion, and enthusiasm for the course material. Amazing professor.

Good Professor, is very passionate about what he teaches. His tests are very fair but sometimes expectations somewhat blurry. Textbook use is limited, use mainly for problems, therefore the current edition is not necessary for this professor. I would recommend this professor.

Amazing Prof who gives great examples and really knows the material very well. Does have a very dry sense of humour until you get to know him/he opens up in the higher courses, which often causes students to be intimidated by him. Always willing to provide extra help.

I had Dr. Bissessur for Chem 111 and 112 and he secured my decision to become a chemistry major. He was extremely helpful and funny. He made classes as interesting as possible. I loved his class and will definatly take other classes taught by him.

Great prof. Funny & easy-going in class which makes things more interesting. Does LOTS of examples & as most students learn by example, it really helps. If you email or go to see him w/questions, he will eagerly help. Is not an "easy" prof but if you're willing to make an effort it's worth it. Due to his class I'm thinking of minoring in chem now.

Rabin is an excellent prof. He allows those students who truly understand the material to do very well. His final exam was tough, but if you need the material- it was a breeze. He is always there for extra help and takes time to explain things over if you him to. He was humorous in class but also got lots of work done. Take a course from him!

Best teacher I've ever had. I took Chem 111, 112 and 221 from him. Clear notes, fair tests, and keeps the class interested with funny quotes and observations. Other teachers should almost aspire to be this dude.
