Comment:

Professor retired after taking him. Spring 2019. Overall pretty easy for a math class. Quizzes every other week. Online homework and modules that you have to pay 100 dollars or more for. Sometimes hes a bit annoying because he treats you like one of his kids. He gets mad if you dont take notes or dont engage in his lecture. He know everyones names!

Comment:

He is one of the sweetest, most caring professors Ive ever had in my life. He wants everyone to pass his class truly, and will do everything in his power to make you understand the material.

Comment:

I had him as a math lab class which was super easy. He is such a kind and warm soul. He would call us "children of heaven" which was so pure. He genuinely wants all students to do well and will make sure everyone understands the content. He also puts the effort to learn your name.

Comment:

Professor Fahmi is caring but I personally did not like how he taught. He had notes already made that you can print and just reads off from them. quizzes every Friday sometimes he would tell you what it is based off sometimes he wouldn't. final is cumulative and homework is online. also a project at the end of the semester. you have to show up.

Comment:

He is such a caring teacher and he wants to make sure you understand the lecture. He might lecture slow at times but the math is simple. As long as you pay attention the math exams are very easy so make sure you go to class. You have to pay in order to do the homework through WebAssign so make sure you don't buy the textbook, buy the access code.

This was is kind of rough because it's a little difficult to understand him. He really wants everyone to pass though so he gets upset when he feels people aren't listening. If you're able to teach yourself some concepts, you'll be fine

He is very caring about his students. He wants to see them succeed, and waits until everyone understands him before moving on. This class is very boring for someone who is good at math. Weekly quizzes and drops the lowest quiz score. 3 exams and a final. As long as you show up to class, you'll be fine

The sweetest professor out there! He really cares about his students and wants you to pass. He calls us "children of heaven". The concepts covered are really easy and are things you will actually use in real life.

Didn't like this class due to the fact that it is a flipped class meaning its both in class and online. I have always been good at math but the way flipped classes are set up confused many students including me. Problems explained online are easy compared to the tests the department creates. "Class Notes" book that was needed did not help at all

He says "Helloo childern of heaven?" when everyone is quite and wants us to participate, he does his best to put the math in real life scenarios, encourage us to discover things "you are the future" he has a pure heart and puts formulas on our quiz/exams repeats questions, basically gives you the answers to questions if you ask before the quiz

Comment:

He is very nice and cares about his students. He does have an accent but is great overall. We had mostly online homework and an easy assignment due each class that counted as attendance. He also draws adorable smiley faces sometimes which he calls 'happy face' and that amuses the students.

He truly cares about his students which was the best part. He would even help me and my friends before and after his official office hours. I like that there was a set schedule for the class and he would make sure everybody was aware of any changes. Very approachable; he wants his students to succeed in his class.

He's a very good professor. Pretty easy class to pass. Gives substantial amount of extra credit. As all math 115 classes, you get quizzes every Friday and drops the lowest one. The Hw Is all online(Wiley Plus). He cares so much about his students and gives so much effort to help. 4 Tests +1 Final. You should defintely take his class.

He is such a kind, warm hearted person and truly cares about his students and wants everyone to understand before moving on. There are Weekly quizes, hw, 3 exams, and 1 final. The final is based off of past quizes and tests. He drops the lowest quiz grade and offers extra credit! He makes you write a summary of each chapter, but it's not too bad.

He's a really nice and caring professor!!! Although it's hard to understand his accent at times, he is very caring and wants everyone to pass the class. Before he moves on he asks if we have any questions. Overall, we had quizzes once a week, 3 tests, 1 final. The class was really easy, and there were extra credit opportunities! I HIGHLY recommend!

Need access code for homework. No EC was offered. Exams, rarely quizzes, and section summaries. Nice prof and asks if clear before moving on. Class wasn't that fun, but do able. I would recommend if you know math well

He is such a sweet and kind old man. I got very lucky to pass his class and its probably because he is very nice. The way he teaches can be confusing at times. 4 exams, section summaries, and the final exam is pretty much all you have to worry about. He does have a sign in sheet so do attend class.

He is so nice and helpful. I probably only passed this course because he is such a generous grader. Homework is online and he does make you do a summary of every section in the chapter at the end of the semester but it's easy.
