Comment:
Professor Lim isnot only the worst professor that I've had at SHU, but the worst teacher I have ever had in general. His method of teaching is to sit behind a computer and keep low while reading from his notes, and typing the lecture into a word doc that he deletes. Barely raises his voice and is an extremely tough grader. Never got full cred on HW

Guy tried to convince me to move a surgery because he scheduled a test for the same day. Found it very difficult to accommodate me post-surgery and didn't allow me to take the test. Outside of this relatively good teacher who is way too smart to teach Econ at SHU.

Lectures the whole class, two tests and a final. a problem set every week of about 5 questions. The problem sets are great practice for the exam tho. Class isn't bad but as a person hes kind of condescending, definitely manageable tho, he knows his stuff

Take Lim. Don't just expect to be handed an A, but if you actually write down the notes he gives you in class (don't miss class), have the textbook, and do well on the weekly problem sets, you're golden. As someone who hates economics, his tests weren't horrible considering they all are open note and open book. Probably the best option for macro.

Grade based off of problem sets (homework) each week and three open note tests. All tests are based off of problem sets and lectures. Class is lecture heavy and sort of boring, but he is lenient on the grades and curves final grade.

Really good guy, take his block class he lets you out 15 mins early. Expect a problem set every week. Its only 5 problems and if you do all the work its 100% . Tests are always open notebook and text book, take very good notes with examples and the tests will not be terrible. Tests are about 6 problems loves to give partial credit TAKE HIM

Extremely knowledgeable professor, teaches straight from experience, but uses book occasionally. I really liked his teaching style. Has problem sets each week, which mirror what you did in class, which mirror what is on the exam. Suggest going to his office hours I visited whenever I had question and was always available. Definitely take him

Take notes in class, you can do the homework straight from the notes, helps with your grade. Three exams open notebook and they're all from the homework. Do not miss a test because then your grade suffers. Not a friendly person in human, very awkward.

Attendance is mandatory. He assigns a company for each student and you have two presentations and two tests. Not a lot of room to bring a grade up in this class. Tests are open book. Bring your computer and write down everything he says, the note taking is crazy. He's not very helpful and you never get any feedback on grades.

This is the worst prof i have taken at SHU. He gives you home works which will take 3 hours to do them. The tests are hard and he wont give any extra time. When you ask for help he says you will be fine and at the end he will give you a C. Don't take this prof unless you are very good on Finance.

Impossible to fail this class, all open book tests. straight forward, take notes and youll be fine. If you are lazy you will not do so hot. MOstly formulas, but you dont have to memorize them. If you cant get at least a C in this class, you prob shouldnt be in college

I had Lim twice. Do your best to avoid him. His tests are unclear and despite the fact that they are open book, they are incredibly difficult. He is useless.
