If you can keep up, go for it; one lecture went from Flip flops to computer architecture in 2 hours. He keeps a solid 2 or 3 lectures ahead of the other professors making the lab feel like a joke. His exams are more than fair and reflect the HW accurately. Surely the most knowledgeable CSUN has, but again, if you cant do fast, stick to Mallard

Decent in teaching. You must focus and be attentive in the subject very easy to get lost; its good idea to read the book or watch some videos ahead before going to class as the material can get very challenging. Must truly understand concepts, prepare to curve ballsRequires motivated students to pass the class, must practice extra problems outside.

He doesn't specify what you need to study for the exam and keeps it too broad. His "Before the exam review" is the worst. What I like in him is he keeps asking if we understood, but that isn't enough... the course is huge and failing is so easy if you don't study a lot. His exam questions aren't similar to the homework.... try to find previouses.

He's very rude and constantly disrespects students for every little thing. He keeps saying not to take notes, then when you try to take picture of the board he yells at you for using your phone and tells you to go home. Someone needs to tell this guy not to forget that we pay his salary, have some respect for the students! I don't recommend F-

He's a tough grader but he's gracious. He's definitely on your side. If he see's you improving he'll pass you. I failed both the midterm and quiz but passed with a B- Read and Study his power points and do the homework. He pulls out stuff from the hw and power point and puts them on the exam.

He's a brilliant teacher who can go straight from memory. Unfortunately for me I found he would go from topic to topic very quickly. He is one of my favorite teachers there but he is a very difficult grader.

He cares about his students, sometimes for 320 he can sort of rush through the material which can make it difficult if your learning it for the first time but he knows his stuff and by the time you finish his class you'll also have walked away from it learning something. Bottom line is take him if you want to learn.

He's a very smart man; however, he is not very good. His exams are completely different than what he teaches. Many of his solutions for his midterms are also wrong (he redid the exams on the board the next class meeting). He was embarrassed when the class corrected his mistakes. He is an inspiring person, but not a good teacher.

He is the BEST professor I have ever had. He is extremely smart and knowledgeable and wise beyond his years. He is a very kind person if you get to know him and he is willing to help anyone in need. He wants you to succeed. The people who do not like him are just too ignorant and stupid to understand what true education is. P.S. GO LAKERS!!

He is one of the best Professor I've ever had. I owe him all my digital knowledge, he is thorough and down to the point. He is serious, and his homeworks and exams are extremly difficult. But hey if you understand his lecture you will be good engineer in the field and would never forget his comments about the material.

He is a good teacher. Always ready to explain stuff even if you ask him million times. However, he has some major flaws. One is that he is not clear about his grading system. Second, his tests are beyond difficult. Finally and unfortunately, cheaters are more successful in his class than hardworkers. I'll give him B :)

Roosta is not really approachable, and sometimes he is downright mean, but if you want to understand this stuff take this class because this guy really gets it and communicates the material well. I don't think that I have ever understood any class material better than the material that I learned from him

Amazing professor. You come out of the class with great knowledge of the material. I would highly recommend him. He knows his stuff and explains the material well in lecture.
