Orgo is a difficult subject but he makes it better. I took Dr. Lee for the summer orgo 2 session and I understood more from him in that session than i did from an entire semester of organic. He is really passionate about the material. He makes sure you actually understand the concepts and not simply memorize things. I highly recommend him! CURVE!

Definitely not the easiest class out there. It is a lot to take in during the summer so make sure you study hard and frequently. He goes off the textbook and does the examples on chalkboard so he goes step by step. He is very approachable and we still talk even though I took him several summers ago. By far one of the best professors I have had!

Well, it is OrgoII, expect it to be little bit hard. Dr.Lee expect you to know everything for the test. Yeah, he teach by the book! Dr.Lee is a bit hard than Dr.Bean!

Dr. Lee does NOT have an attitude. Total left field..Anyway, he IS a good teacher. The thing is, he's very in depth and detailed and gives you reasons why things happen in chemistry. Also, he's pretty cool with a good sense of humor, but you will have to study in his class. He wants you to know about as much as he does about the subject.

Yes its a hard class, but Prof. Lee is an excellent teacher. He is also very helpful and approachable outside of class. If you need to get organic out of the way in a hurry after a spring semester, seriously consider taking the class during the summer... It'll be over in just 5 weeks, and youll actually learn the material

He was a great professor when I had him. His knowledge of organic chemistry is incredible. I was suprised that he actually used the chalk board instead of powerpoints, which was great because powerpoint is overrated. Regardless of who you have, organic chemistry is difficult, but he'll help you through.

Dr. Lee is one of the best teachers on the UH campus. i strongly disagree with those who say he has an attitude. he is enthusiastic about teaching, his lectures are clear and if you follow his advice for studying you will do great. he tries to know all his students by name (something i have never seen at a university)

I had Dr. Lee for Organic Chem. 2. Awesome teacher; he gives good CLEAR notes. Dr. Lee lectures well and uses the blackboard to teach. His tests are hard, but he also holds review sessions that really help. Take him, he's great!
