One of my best classes at UH. Engaging, intelligent, and personable. Teaches from sources other than the book, but makes it very clear. Amazingly helpful outside of class.

He's very nice and understanding. Very nerdy but a good guy. Knows the subject and tries to make it as interesting as possible and makes the tests as easy as he can.

Comment:
He is eccentric and his tests are kind of wierd. But once you get the hang of it you will do well. Cracks a lot of nerdy jokes. Always takes atleast 10 minutes extra. Has a great personality. Extremely passionate about chemistry. The best part though is that if you do well enough during the semester you can keep the grade without taking the final

The class is extremely easy, although there's a 6-10 pages term paper, if you do it, you will get an A. mid-term and finals are easy where quiz could be changeling.

He's NOT helpful. Classes consist of PowerPoint lectures and him talking on completely random subjects that have little to do with anything (i.e., how hard it is to get a patent or how long it takes to get a scientific article published). If you can self-teach, you'll be ok, otherwise.. take Bott

Extremely smart. Helpful- just talk to him! You have to read the text and at least try the homework problems. 6-10 page term paper on topic of your choice. Tests are straight forward if you've studied the material. He does NOT teach toward the test.

A real jerk, full of himself and not all that helpful. Doesn't really try with students, too busy listening to himself talk
