If you'd like a fun professor with little to no necessary class participation and the occasional "WTF" moment, then this is the guy for you. He knows evidence forwards and backwards, but the class often goes on unrelated tangents. Being there is optional, as is knowing the cases. What's important is KNOW THE RULES. Get those and you're golden.

Comment:

Had him for Fed Crim. Class had interesting subject matter (hard tho) and he knows his stuff. He gets distracted in class, but it is a good break from the dense material. Only draw back to the breaks is we don't cover everything we were accountable for on the exam. Exam was very fair but a time crunch. I would recommend taking him for Fed Crim.

Jonakait is an incredibly bright guy. He is very cool, but at the same time a little eccentric. You have to do the reading, or you won't be prepared for the final. Class discussion was kind of worthless. That being said, I would definitely take another class with.
