This is one of the worst professors I had so far - his rambling will put you to sleep no matter how many shots of espresso you have. All he talks about is policy and then does not give a policy-driven question on the exam. Just useless!

Had him for Property. He comes off a bit strange at first, which I am guessing is where some of his bad reviews come from. He was always prepared for class, didn't stray too far on material and his exam was a kitchen sink answer (every law students dream!). He doesn't take the easy road when selecting subject matter but I would highly recommend him

Told me that my questions did not warrant his office hour time and that I should have other students explain concepts I didn't fully understand. Condescending to students. I found him entertaining, because he was such a jerk. Reading and final were very fair, which is all that matters.

Good teacher who does not use the socratic method and is very fair. I'd recommend. The matrerial is quite interesting and he knows what he's talking about.

If u don't do the readings & put the time in to understand the material prior to class, then yes, this can be a hard class. HOWEVER, this class is great. This professor is highly knowledgeable in the subject & has a ton to offer. Just do the work, study, & u will be fine. Don't do the work and u will be in trouble and not happy-See above comments

Half of the final was removed - the half I spent the majority of my time on since it was 40% of the grade. When it was all said and done this class wrecked my gpa. No midterm. Only chance at a grade was a screwed up final. This guy makes me think NYLS is a giant waste of money. If I had it to do over I'd go to another school. Thanks Peritz.

this professor is the worse. can't articulate one sentenance without an error. final was a total mess. you would think that he would proof read his exam. didn't learn a thing during the semester. learned everything from a supplement. total waste of time and i recommend you doing everything you can to avoid a class with him.

Total jerk! Answers every question with"read the cases again" Final had one question (the big one) that got parties confused half way through. By the last page the co was suing itself! The Dean of Academic Affairs had to be call in in the middle! They made corrections during the last 45 minutes! It's a big mess. Defer for a year if you get him!

I very good teacher, but lazy when it comes to test writing. He gave us an exam which he had used for at least the two previous year. Information about old tests got out, so when we ended up with the same test people already had the answer. We ended up having to take our Contracts exam twice. Ahhhhh

the guy has the potential to be a great teacher, but he is obviously more concerned with projects outside the classroom. do yourself a favor and learn contracts on your own, but do it within his framework that he puts on the board.

I thought he did a good job -- he's clearly a bit too laid back and should push the class more -- the in class "exercises" were a joke. I think he should have been more aggressive with students. The reading was just right, I think.. More time on tradmarks, please.

This prof. may be rough around the edges outside the classroom, but he is smooth as glass in front of a class. Focus on policy and all will be great! Come to class early, never be late! Great and brilliant man!
