Easily one of the best profs at uoit. Absolutely worth it to try. Learn from him in MECE2310 because the whole capstone project is about this course.

No one is a better fit to prepare you to become a real engineer than Remon Pop. This professor knows so much about every field and will challenge your projects by asking deep knowledge questions, no matter what program you are from. He is tough but he is always right too. U have no choice but to have him for capstone, just know that he cares.

I think he is a great professor. The material thought is very useless but the design projects are fun and make you creative. The course rolls around NX software and some useless material from manufacturing literature. it is an easy course only if you attend the class. Final exam questions are coming from the lecture notes. The group work sucks!!

A fantastic lecture, lots of useful engineering knowledge, but half of the mark is group work, and it is the only half you are getting because you are wasting your time studying for the midterms and exams, they are way too hard. You are quite literally supposed to memorize lecture slides....

Remon is by far one of the best teachers I have had in educational experience. He has the spirit of a military general, with instincts that separates him from the rest and to lead use in to the future.
