Exams are around 10 questions and everything comes from the textbook including the homework and test reviews. He just reads everything from the textbook so if you want to learn you will have to do lots of self-study. Putting up homework on the board *might* give you extra credit.

Comment:

This professor is a nice guy, but don't take him in the night because he teaches horrible. He speaks very low, he reads everything from the textbook so if you miss something your going to have to go back and re-teach yourself. He gives extra credit for putting questions on the board. He doesn't grade homework.

Homeworks are based off the departments syllabus, if you put up homeworks it's extra credit. One point per question. Tests are like ten questions, partial credit if you show work. If you don't like math, don't like doing work and practicing, you're not going to like the way he teaches. I taught myself a lot.

Absolutely awful. I swear I didnt learn a thing all semester. He is very nice but not a good professor for precalculus in the slightest. Please avoid him at all costs.

Do your hw, pay attention in class, go tutor if needed, and practice before a test. It's an easy A. You have to pay attention in class because occasionally he'll make a mistake. He's pretty funny and chill. He gives extra credit if you write hw on the board (don't be shy!)

This is fast pace b/c the prof. is required to teach you everything by the end of the semester so you can take the qcc final. What helped me was hw & tutoring & doing the prep tests. I suck at math so if I can do it, you can too! As long as you make time for tutoring! Also sometimes he miswrites a number or a sign so make sure you correct him!

Not gonna this his class again. He makes you work for yourself and somehow force you to buy a 200 dollars useless textbook (even you can just borrow from library). He is also a tough grader unless you really read all the key terms from the textbook.

Don't take him , unless you want to teach yourself or you are good at math. He simply teaches off the textboox and doesn't give a formal review just questions off the textboox. However he grades tests nice but you will still fail.

Professor Zahavy is not exactly a tough professor, but you do have to teach yourself a lot. All we did in CS100 was read key terms from the textbook and code on our own from a textbook. As long as you study for tests and do the projects he assigns you should pass with flying colors.

Professor Zahavy's an okay professor. Took him at 6 in the night and got a B-. Eventhough I was drained most of the day his lectures were fun. One thing to note though If you're going to taken him he gives exams that are 8-10 questions on topics that were covered in class and he does go fast, where sometimes we have to correct him.

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR!!! Seriously, do not take him!! We have computer projects to do, but he isn't clear on what to do, and when you ask for help, he barely does anything. You basically have to do everything yourself. I asked him about the format of the tests, and he completely ignored me. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!!!

Just avoid at all costs.I only took this class as part of my requirements. He's nice and all but honestly he sucks as a teacher. Doesn't teach at all, just reads off from the textbook. You do the assignments on your own. The exams are hard but passable and really annoying. But seriously do not take his class. If you do, then good luck.

He isnt the greatest professor, He was very unfair with the final. He told us that it would be a regular chapter exam but we ended having to know 18 chapters out of 22 chapters. To make things worse he tells us the week prior to the final. He Did not even teach any lessons, everything was independent learning. AVOID HIM......

Horrible. Just horrible. He's a computer professor, who doesn't know how to work a smartboard! He tries to be nice but it just seems like he doesn't care about his students.
