I had him for American History Since 1945. Pretty nice guy but his exams can be pretty difficult. I consider myself a history buff and made a "C" on my first test! I made a 94 in the class overall. You have to read the entire book to make an "A" in the class. If you don't, a failing grade is likely.

This guy knows his stuff. You have to do the reading to pass the quizzes and the assignments aren't too bad, just make sure you do them and ask for help if you need it...reach him by email, use both addresses he gives.

This class wasn't a breeze. I wound up with a B overall. His tests are essays and it is quite tough to manage to pull out the right words at the right times. He is very helpful and wants to you make a good grade. He's pretty hot too, and I developed a crush on him!!! I mean...He knows his stuff!

Mr. Rice is a good teacher but he does tend to overload you. His tests are hard but if you study and make an effort you'll pass. You have to work hard in this class to make a good grade, but thats what college is all about people.

I had him in high school, thought he was an excellent teacher so I took one of his college courses. He really knows his stuff and if you are good at essay tests you'll have no problem b/c he gives the topics in advance. He definatelly tries to help everyone get an A.

I make A's in most all my courses. Mr. Rice is for advanced history people only. He has conversation with 3 or 4 history buffs in class and the rest of class is left in the clouds. Quizzes are very hard. Tests are all essay. Must write several essays each test. I do not recommend this teacher!

Loves to talk about history. Very nice personality likes to get to know his students. Great teacher, class is very interesting, but tests can be extremely difficult.
