I'm a student of Dr. Blumenstock in 1996 who attended a short term program at Jerusalem University College. He is rather knowledgeable on allot of cultural studies of the Old and New Testament. I knew his son who was a wholesome Christian young man at that time and this speaks quite positively about his abilities as professor, leader, & parent

He changed my life. I owe that man a lot. His passion for the lost is evident in every lecture. Take time to sit with him outside of class. I am sure it will be well worth your time. You will work your butt off in class, but your investment will show great dividends. Learning and thinking don't come easy, and neither do A's.

The difficulty level of the class is unbelievable. If I get through it with a C, I'm going to have to think about going into the ministry cause I did so well. I've never had this stuff before and he just dumps the whole load on you at once. He's very unclear and by far the worst professor I've had. Ever.

Evangelism was a hard class for me because I'm such an introvert! However, Dr. B. was great! He got me excited about the class, and I learned a new perspective. He's so compassionate, and remembers every prayer request I ever made, and asks about them!

Dr. Blumenstock is wonderful!!! When I had some issues to discuss outside of class, he was willing to meet me for coffee and talk about it. He is a great counselor and teacher. I think it was great that he makes us witness for CLT. All the theology would be worthless if it weren't for sharing it.

Dr. B. is a wonderlful man and a great prof. I love the way that he gets really excited about what he's discussing! Even when he is not teaching he is always helpful and caring; it's like having a Uncle who's always there for you. He really cares about his students!

Fortunately, Blumenstock was out for surgery, so I didn't have to sit and listen to him drone in class very often. He told the same worthless stories repeatedly, and his fixation with evangelism is overpowering for the course. Witnessing for a grade? What a joke.
