I can tell Professor Comerford is a good guy, I really do stand by that. But wow he is probably the most bland, dry, boring professor I've ever had. He simply reads off the slides and his teaching style is not engaging at all. He at least tells you exactly what you need to study for the tests, but you have to basically learn on your own.

His lecture is okay (little bit boring) but it will be super hard for you to get a good grade in his class. Don't take him unless you love challenges.

He is a respectable guy, just so DRY and BORING. You'll wonder how a 1 hr 15 min. class feels it took 15 hrs 1 min. All he does is read off the power point and ask if we're understanding along with some real questions along the way. Try to take this course with another professor if possible so you don't fall asleep in the middle of his lecture.

He gives 3 tests two with essay one all multiple choice. All he does is talk but if you pay attention he gives you the answer for the essays on the test. Tests with essay you choose two essays.

Professor Comerford , in my experience, is a person and teacher that will take care of you, as long as you gain his respect. I had him for macroeconomics, and every class he would ask, "Is there anything in the news?". If you answer him, and give him a good answer, you will definitely rub him the right way. I recommend this class if you aren't lazy

You have the option to take all of his ppts on a flash drive from the first day of classes. I did that, and read the textbook to prepare for every exam and scored above a 90 every time. The exams are HARD but if you prepare independently you will be good.

I would not recommend this professor to anyone. He gives 3 tests and each tests increases in difficulty ad increasing in how much it effects your grade. All the learning must be done on your own because his teaching skills are horrible and his power-points are not even worth writing down. If you do take this class, READ THE TEXTBOOK.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He is very rude and goes through material very quickly but will expect you to know them like an expert. Lectures are very boring and goes off topic every class. If you take this class you will have to teach yourself everything. There are only three test and thats all. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR.

He's a great teacher! He's very helpful, nice, & makes jokes. Definitely knows what he's talking about, and tries to relate topics to current day. Only 3 tests. Two are multiple choice with identifications, and the last test is an essay. He curves tests. Definitely have to read the book. The class is a little boring, but how fun can economics be?

The tests are ridiculous. Even if you think you understand the material the test is extremely hard. I never missed class and I tried to understand but it really doesn't help. He doesn't clearly explain anything and then expects you to pass. I would never take this class again.

You need the book. He reads off the slides and tries to be funny. He goes through the subject fast like we already know about Economics. He also does not post the slides on moodle, which I did not like. Two multiple choice tests; first 125%, midterm30%. Our final was an essay in class35%, but we were able to prepare beforehand because he hands. Do not take him!

You cannot miss, fall asleep, or day dream if you want to pass. You honestly have to read the book on your own because he tends to get sidetracked.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS OR PROFESSOR. Basically if you only had an hr to live take his class because it feels like an eternity. His tests and test grading does not match his weak inaccurate lectures. DONT TAKE! Very sadistic professor almost like he enjoys watching the students struggle and does not care for his students

If you want a hint from me for macroeconomics do as I say, sit in the back, read the textbook, he will not teach you, often gets distracted talking about "what's in the news" He will give his study sheet for the exam, study key terms , learn the vocab so you can write definitions/examples, study right from the book. Only 3 tests no graded homework.

Lectures were the most boring I've ever had. He's not a bad guy, just a bad professor. Grade was based on 3 tests THATS IT! If you're easily bored or fall asleep easy do not take. But he is Extremely knowledgeable on the subject.

Great guy as a person. Knows the material, but economics isn't my thing, and due to the difficulty of the class, it made it a lot harder. He's there for you if you want to talk to him about material you don't understand, but overall, not a bad but not the greatest experience with him. Take him if you know economics very well.

Hardest class I've ever taken, it's like Yale level difficulty. Professor is a really smart man and the class is conducted group discussion style. He said a C+ in his class means you did well, and you should believe him. He's also really funny with a dry humor style that not a lot of people understand.
