Really great teacher! He's kind and willing to help! I really enjoyed Prof. Morales' classes and lectures. Teaches so well you don't need the book! Most of your grade is based on tests but if you listen in his lectures/take notes and go to his test reviews, you honestly won't even have to study! So helpful! Do yourself a favor and take his class!!!

Comment:

He is a great teacher overall but be warned that emailing him is never a great idea because he seldom replies, if you have an issue or question ask him face to face or meet him at his office. I got consistently high grades on his tests and yet I got a C for God knows why, the answer to that I am still waiting on -- till this day.

To keep it 100. He is a very good professor but this is not an easy A. He only gives 3 test. No paper, Nor midterm final. Test is solely based on notes so attendance is essential! Come late or absent you will be penalized. Overall if you can sit through his 1hour &15 min lectures you'll be fine. But remember to write down everything he says!!!!!!!

This professor is one of the best history teachers at Bergen. His lectures are crystal clear and very informative. His tests are fairly easy, but he is very tough when grading essays. On a personal level, however, I don't care for him. He doesn't bother to learn anyone's name and can be VERY condescending to his students.

I can't get enough of him! 3rd semester of taking history. Every semester he manages to do something different. There were 2 essay exams and 1 multiple choice test. His lectures drag but he manages to teach a lot of info in detail. Take notes! I just dislike how he grades essays...too tough. Reading the book is also up to you ;) Take Morales!

I've been fortunate enough to have him for two semesters. He's a real smart history buff and his lectures are really clear, but they sometimes drag. There are 3 easy tests, one term paper, and of course no homework. Everything he talks about in class is on the test so the textbook use is minimal. I highly recommend him for any history! Easy A!

Professor Morale seems to have a great sense of humors. He allows his students to retake quiz, then he would drop lower grades on tests or quizes. Oftens, he makes makes to be pretty dry. However, professor Morales would no appreciate when students are unprepared and does not have anyhing to contribute to all his discussions regardng to history.

Professor Morales is awesome and knows his history! The class is fairly easy with about 6 mini quizzes and a midterm and final (study). The textbook is really optional but buy it and he also gives no homework! His lectures could drag but in the end, you actually learn something. If you need a history, take him!

He is a good Professor. Made an 8 am history class bearable. A total of four tests (drops the lowest) and no homework. Although he suggests the textbook, it really is not needed but it did help me personally on tests. If you pay attention to his lectures you will be fine. Oh and make sure phones are not going to go off or he will count you absent.

Great teacher, easy going and nice to talk to. My sole criticisms are 1 a bit too basic and 2 let class go on idiotic tangents during discussion for discussions sake. His lectures are great for a basic overview of the times. Take him.

he is somewhat intelligent but he's is subconsciously a raciest,due to agents of socialization. Easy class he would not due anything malaceous because of your ethnicity but his wording of subjects are somewhat offending.

He doesn't give homework just 3-4 tests. He lectures as though he was telling you a story so he can get dramatic at some points. I found this funny at times. Do take notes and show up on time. If you get good classmates you get some really good funny moments/stories out of him. Must take notes, just add them on to the syllabus.

he is by far the best history teacher in bergen! 2 quizzes 2 test! just pay attention in class and you will be fine. no homework at all he makes you laugh and welcomes you when your late to class! TAKE THIS PROFESSOR HES GREAT!
